Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Probably the scariest simulation game I’ve played.

🏆 [For me to award a gold cup review 🏆 The game must be decent, as I consider a lot of different factors.]
So I’m fixing and updating my review. Last time I wrote one for this game I was having issues and glitches, since then I have played this quite a bit and the issues got fixed! I also love the creepiness of the game and how fun it is especially with alternate endings!
It was very story rich. Had just the right balance of simulation gaming and horror story. Very replayable. First game I 100%, it takes some resilience XD. Scares were decent and while sometimes gameplay was lagging at times it really wasn't that bad.
If you are into Jump Scares, Give this game a try.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **“The Mortuary Assistant: I Signed Up to Embalm Bodies, Not Fight Demons on Overtime”** I started *The Mortuary Assistant* thinking, “Oh cool, a realistic embalming simulator!” What I got instead was a night shift filled with demonic disrespect, haunted hallways, and corpses that absolutely do NOT know how to stay still. **Job Description:** The game says you’re here to learn funeral home procedures. What it doesn’t mention is that half your training will involve dealing with supernatural nonsense that would have me clocking out in real life IMMEDIATELY. **Corpses:** They don’t move… Until they do. Then suddenly they’re sitting up, staring at me like I owe them money. One corpse turned its head at me so fast I almost slammed alt+F4 with both hands. **Demons:** Every demon in this game acts like a bored coworker trying to get your attention in the worst possible way. Footsteps behind you? Whispers in your ear? A shadow sprinting across the room like it forgot its wallet? Yep. All included. No DLC required. **Hallucinations:** Peak chaos. One moment I’m embalming, next moment I’m trapped in some nightmare sequence wondering why my job didn’t come with hazard pay. There was a hallway scare that made me take my headphones off so dramatically I felt like I was in a soap opera. **Atmosphere:** The building has exactly two moods: * “Nothing is wrong here :)” * “EVERYTHING IS VERY WRONG RIGHT NOW” There is no in-between. **Tools of the Trade:** Scalpel, tubing, syringes, chemicals… All completely normal! Until the game makes you drop them because something behind you breathes louder than it should. **Story:** Genuinely good and creepy. Also constantly overshadowed by the fact that every 3 minutes something tries to mentally destabilize you. **Scares:** Not “boo.” Not “jump scare.” I’m talking **full-body betrayal**. There was a moment where a door opened by itself and I felt my soul leave my body through the HDMI port. **Replayability:** High — because the game hates you differently every time. The demon changes, the events change, your emotional stability drops consistently. **Final Thoughts:** *The Mortuary Assistant* is part horror game, part job simulator, and part “why is that corpse staring at me again.” It’s terrifying in the best way and unintentionally hilarious when your character calmly scribbles demon symbols in her notebook like this is just a normal Tuesday. Play this if you enjoy: * Heart attacks * Demons with boundary issues * Rooms that go dark just to ruin your day * Corpses doing parkour * Being gaslit by the supernatural **5/5 — embalmed a demon, screamed twice, continued my shift like a professional.**
muito engraçado! bom jogo preço qualidade.
Love the gameplay loop here. Clocked a couple of endings.
