Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 6.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A cool game with some cool mechanics. The music and the environments especially standout, and fully support the unique story. I purchased and played after playing Sea of Stars, to understand more of the references, and I was not at all disappointed.

The art is good, the mechanics are sharp, but the writing is incredibly weak for such good visuals and a potentially good world, that is way too allergic to sincerity for me to give a full recommendation. Good if you just skip dialogue and want to play something like Ninja Gaiden, bad if you care about writing or hate Family Guy style reference humor that constantly tells you you are playing a game.
I wish I had discovered this game sooner because I had such a blast playing it! The music is probably the most noteworthy with some true bops in each and every level. While limited in sound design using 8-bit sounds, every track feels unique and recognisable from the moment you enter a new area. The mid-game twist where the entire game is upgraded to a more detailed pixel style, is a fun surprise and elevates the music even more. In terms of gameplay, the game is very strong too! I found myself being taken through each stage naturally without having to backtrack, unless you want each secret collectable. The story is wacky and the dialogues silly, making for an overall unserious game. I wish it was a bit more serious towards the beginning of the game, but it makes up for it by some high stakes in the second half. I cannot stress enough how satisfying this game was to play and how absolutely banger the soundtrack and art style are.
Absolut nichts! --- If you are looking for a charming, relatively easy-to-learn action platformer in a cool retro style, you have come to the right place. As a ninja, you jump and fight your way through a lovingly designed world that masterfully blends 8-bit and 16-bit visuals – where a modern look meets pure nostalgia. The game shines above all with its extremely smooth controls. You only need to memorize a few special moves, which makes getting into the game super accessible. The difficulty level is fair: it is not a brutally hard "Celeste," but it is no walk in the park like "Super Mario" either. You can easily rush through the levels without annoying grinding breaking the gameplay flow. A bit of backtracking is included, of course, but it is handled in an enjoyably varied way. The story is entertaining, features great punchlines and neat little gags without being too intrusive or unnecessarily deep. It simply gives you the perfect reason to keep going. Even the more demanding achievement challenges were incredibly fun (and yes, you are allowed to check a wiki for the "Dark Cave" – who actually wants to memorize the entire map? And yes, you only become a "Star Messenger" with a lot of patience and by watching videos beforehand to get a clear plan of the sequence – who wants to replay the levels 1,000 times just to practice the very last screen? The joy of finally beating it is all the greater). After a short break (of 1+ years), even the second playthrough was an absolute blast. What do I have to complain about? Absolutely nothing! Thanks to the developers for this amazing experience!
This Isn't Even My Final Form: The Game. It's rare for a game to make me shout out loud in joy. THIS is how you subvert the expectations of a genre.
A neat little metroidvania-lite platformer themed like old school Ninja Gaiden. The game isn't terribly hard at most points. I actually found it super easy in the beginning and thought the game was going to end much earlier than it did. It's surprisingly deep for what it comes off as. I did everything in the base game, and bailed on the DLC trying to collect the few things I missed. There are just sometimes in the game where getting the secrets and setting it up so you are in the right state to do that is a slog. Some rooms are annoying to traverse and there isn't a lot of fast travel in the game. Anyway, overall, a really fun game. The gimmick where the game looks either an NES or SNES game is really neat. Both versions of graphics are great. The music is also really good. Combat is fine, nothing special. The platforming isn't super hard. Overall, a fun game, but unless you are starved for a game like this, I'd say wait for a reasonable sale.
