great writing, love all the dialogue. cool art style and fun puzzles.

Same formula with new characters, that are even more fun to interact with and uncover their secrets. Main case hooks right away and the soundtrack is a vibe. Really good sequel, hope there will be more installments in the future.

I had the pleasure of playing Tangle Tower and Detective Grimoire in the past, so I wishlisted this game the moment it was announced. After finishing the game, all I can say is "wow." The writing, art design, characters, voice acting, story flow, and ending make this a masterpiece. Years of hard work from the team are profusely apparent; it is clear they loved their story and were excited to share it with the world. I fully recommend this game.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It's finally here and just like Tangle Tower it upholds a high level of quality. In many ways surpassing it. For one the voice actors in this game are top-notch; each one fitting their character perfectly. And the clues being 3D was such an enjoyable change making them fun to interact with, and adding more depth to solving each mystery. Furthermore I can't get enough of the music in this game. It pulled me in and wouldn't let go. I am in love with the Detective Grimoire series, and whether or not [i] SFB [/i] decides to make more. I'll still continue to support and play whatever they make, just for the love of the quality and care they put into each of their games.

I played this right after finishing Tangle Tower (which I do reccomend playing first as it's shorter and there's references to it in this game). Once again, loved it and played it until 4 am multiple times! I don't know which I liked better, I loved both games (haven't played the very first one). Loved that there were some new features, such as being able to open, rotate, and read the clues. The story was very good, I enjoyed it all the way through. All the characters were, like the last game, extremely charming. I loved all of them and it kept me guessing about who the murderer was for a while, as I really liked EVERYONE. The voice actors were great too, once again. They really breathe so much life into the characters. I love the quirks some have while speaking and it all sounds so natural. Props to the va's and devs!! :)

A follow-up game just as good as the last one (Tangle Tower).

Spectacular game! I absolutely adore the characters, the art style, the voice acting, the story and the mystery! I've been waiting (im)patiently ever since I finished Tangle Tower, and this game does not disappoint. I'm not done with the game yet, but am too excited about it, not to share. I had one hiccup so far, where the game stopped reacting. Had to close the game buy no grogress was lost, the autosave feature is very diligent.
