The Mermaid Mask

Holy guacamole this game is truly incredible. The character design is so diverse, interesting to look at and memorable. It fits so well with both their roles in the story as well as their personalities, both hidden and shown aspects thereof. The art style and direction is absolutely mersmerizing, I have no idea how they manage to make this game look so damn gorgeous. The music is very fun, playful and just great to listen to. Very atmospheric at times or just a bop whenever feels fitting, mostly for character themes. I would also praise the story, but I shan't in fear of spoilers. This mystery is so enticing. I was swallowed whole by this game. And now that I have been spit out I am a person changed for the better. Please, please buy this. Try it out as a demo first, obviously. And then buy it because you will be sold on it. This game should be more expensive. The quality is simply too great to justify such a price.

An absolute masterpiece of the genre, if not the best point & click detective adventure ever made. Everything from Tangle Tower was iterated upon flawlessly. The art is incredible, as are the voices and characterizations. The puzzles are very good, just difficult enough usually. Being able to deduce the culprit from small breadcrumbs along the path while also not being quite sure until the very last moment, just perfect. Thank you for your work SFB games. Once we finished it, we immediately wanted to see more of this world, but we absolutely understand the undertaking these games take. Looking forward to whatever comes next from SFB!

an amazing detective game, SFB Games has a really tight grasp on what makes a great detective game, the art is phenomenal, the story is engaging, the characters have so much life, the puzzles are just the right combination of sometimes challenging but rewarding when figured out, they keep the it fresh between games trying to keep moving forward. for instance they have added 3d animations to expand upon the already beautiful artstyle and finally the comedy is just perfect, the little comments that sally and grimoire make about different enviroment features really makes them feel more dimensional instead of caricatures, a 10/10 game for me

I have been looking forward to this game since I played Tangle Tower in 2024. I checked X religiously to see if there had been any updates or news pretty much every week. The wait was totally worth it. It took what I loved about Tangle Tower (as well as Detective Grimoire) and expanded and improved upon it. Each character, puzzle, and even small detail in the background is ridiculously charming and engaging. I sincerely hope they make fifty more and I will happily (but maybe not patiently) wait for each one.

The third installment in the Detective Grimoire series and SFB Games deliver yet again. Everything about these games are so well thought-out and executed; the plot, the music, the character design, the mystery, the puzzles, etc. A lot of small and hidden details are added in the clues and interrogations with the suspects that it's easy to sometimes miss out on a few that end up revealing who the culprit turns out to be, but once the reveal happens you piece all the things together and you end up feeling mind blown (at least I know I did.) I also liked how easily you get attached to the characters and end up wanting more. They do reference the last two games quite often here, so it is better to start from the beginning if you do decide to play it. There's also more world building in this one than the previous two games, which I absolutely loved and appreciated because everything feels more fleshed out here. I did read the developers wanting to take a break after The Mermaid Mask, so do yourself a favor and catch up on these games before they put out the next one (whenever it is, I'll be there *insha'Allah*)

Amazing from start to finish. Great characters, dialogue, puzzles, everything! 10/10 for me!
