Commandos 2 is not a game about having the fastest trigger finger. It is about patience, observation and transforming an impossible battlefield into a carefully executed plan. Every mission is a tactical puzzle filled with patrol routes, overlapping vision cones and opportunities waiting to be discovered. The Green Beret provides strength. The Sniper brings precision. The Spy turns enemy uniforms into weapons. The Thief climbs through places no sensible soldier would attempt. Every commando has a purpose, and victory comes from combining their abilities intelligently. There is immense satisfaction in studying a heavily guarded position, preparing your attack and watching the entire plan succeed. There is also immense humiliation when one guard turns around unexpectedly and the whole enemy army begins firing at a bush. The HD remaster is not flawless. Some controls and interface elements can feel awkward, and the modernisation does not always possess the atmosphere or precision that the original deserved. New players should expect a learning curve and veterans may occasionally miss elements of the classic presentation. But beneath those imperfections remains one of the finest tactical games ever created. It respects intelligence. It rewards experimentation. I was soo happy to replay this game from my chilhood but way too buggy to be enjoyable.

Trotz der Rezensionen war ich naiv genug mir das Spiel zu besorgen, anstatt das "echte" Commandos 2 zu modden. Das hier ist eine unzumutbare, verbuggte Katastrophe. Bitte werft diesem Verein keinen weiteren Cent in den Rachen.

Fehler, Fehler, Fehler, Bugs, Bugs, Bugs ... sodass man ganze Mission neu starten muss. Finger weg von dieser Version!!!!
