Need a hearth to build stairs... okay, no thanks
This game immediately scratches the itch for a survival/base builder style game. Then after nearly 40 hours of playing, the repetitiveness and non-rewarding nature of playing this game becomes completely unbearable. There is nothing more excruciating than building the next tier of weapon, only for 2 whole seconds later hearing "I need a better weapon" and immediately feeling like you are swinging a wet noodle. Speaking of combat. How about we go from killing normal orcs, to killing orcs with a helmet on, to killing orcs with a helmet and armor on, to killing orcs with armor on that glows purple. Riveting gameplay. Do not recommend. The map system constantly breaks. Leaving you wandering endlessly with no idea where you actually need to go. Also, the cooking system feels terrible. There is 0 incentive to craft the better and better foods, as they all fill your hunger and health bar to full. You don't get better and better buffs for cooking the really expensive food. Overall, go play literally any other survival base builder. You will have a better time.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

way to grindy pacing is horrible and the legendary stick that takes your master work slot is needed for 10 seconds on the final boss fight that all in all takes a minuet after hours of grinding that doesn't even feel rewarding all to cross a bridge that's about 15 feet across and use a pic you already have before the final boss to go out side and finish the game we litterly are forced to make a longer bridge earlier in the game so it doesn't even make any scene to do so instead of taking on the final boss with up to 8 dwarfs and not go at it with a army tho then again it took less then a minuet chasing the final boss down and less then 10 seconds with the god of sticks to actually kill her
Meiner Meinung nach ein super gelungenes LOTR Spiel. Es hat richtig viel spaß gemacht. Ich kann es nur jedem LOTR Fan weiterempfehlen.
Let's get the good out of the way first. It is faithful to LotR, tho it doesn't exactly add anything new, or have a narrative of any kind. Weapon crafting progression is very cool, planting crops works great, building is good, brewing mead is cool. The world exploration, going deeper into the mines and coming across stronger enemies, finding stronger materials to make better gear out of, that is all thought out really well and works. Base building is neet, you have a lot of freedom with floors and you need to create a lot of space and get creative with how you place all your work stations and pallets and stuff. The bad, the biggest one first. Combat is Ass, like absolute ass. There's pretty much just charge attack and block, that's what carries you through every combat encounter. Archery is good at the start but then you need better arrows to deal more dmg later but the mats are not worth it. Basically makes archery unusable, also archery is ass. There are headshots, but it's not like Valheim where archery feels amazing to use. Archery in Moria feels like ass, and arrows are way too much trouble to craft to use mid and late game. So ye, bad. While base building is neet... the snap-on is ass 😆 Like seriously, it's so frustrating to connect the most mundane floors sometimes. While the basebuilding works well, the UX for it is terrible. You can get used to it slowly, but it makes me not want to spend too much time with it. Food... I sorta see what they were thinking I guess, but it's way too annoying to cook 3 meals a day, and making food spoilable on the table really only makes it so you need to wait for food to be ready everytime. Sleep is also not thought out well, it all feels like a waste of time waiting for sleep and food to get ready. In my session we hardly ever sleep, we remove fatigue with a meal and then I pray and drink to improve my stamina on top. Also massive L on the quick build. The only building you can build without a hearth is the wood platform. It would be such an improvement if you could build more stuff. Making infrastructure to get around the mine easier could be a whole progression system in itself. Instead we use fast travel for this. I really don't see why, you could prbly break the game more easily if you could build anything but I say let us 😆 Building could be a much more intricate part of exploration, it's really a missed opportunity imho. O and enchantments... really the only enchantment you'll ever want is anti-orc. Later weapons like Durin's Sword even start off with a fire enchantment so you can't even enchant it yourself. It's a bit of a nothing system. It's not implemented meaningfully. The map and fast-travel UI is also.... I hate it 😆 Mines of Moria is a fun enough games with the right crowed. Especially among LotR fans, but if you want a fun open world crafting game and you haven't played Valheim yet smhw... play that! 😆 Just better by every metric.
this game is amazing
Cool LOTR game but no smoking pipe :/
I can't think of anything negative to say about this game. It's SO addicting, fun, and has a little bit of everything. My husband and I played the main game and the DLC co-op, and both were awesome!
If you want to experience Arrakis enter Dune, if you want to be submersed in the vibe of Moria, play return to Moria, expansions allow Npc management as you explore and reclaim what is left after the Balrrog. A comprehensive builder adventure with the vibe of being in Middle Earth
