Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The prophesied end of the Zemurian continent draws near, and so does the launch of humanity's first foray into space. A sudden invitation from Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise sets Van Arkride, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham on a collision course with the secrets that lay at the very core of Zemuria.
Their paths may diverge, but the ultimate question remains the same: Just what lies beyond the edge of the horizon?

Explore detailed locations across the Calvard Republic, strengthen your connections with your allies, and uncover what lies beyond the horizon of Zemuria across three intertwining story paths. Plus, Trails beyond the Horizon introduces new gameplay mechanics to the beloved battle system introduced in Trails through Daybreak, giving you an unprecedented amount of options in both Field and Command Battles. Battle it out in the action-packed Field Battle mode, then swap to the turn-based Command Battle mode to strategically plan out your attacks!

New features include:
Wield more power in battle than ever before with Shard Commands! Utilize S-Boosts to give your party a range of benefits during battle. Each character and holo core comes with their own unique Shard Commands, so be sure to take advantage of them!
Certain characters, such as Van with his ability to transform into the Grendel, can surge with extra strength using Awakening during Field Battles to temporarily increase their power.

Take control of time itself with Z.O.C. to slow the speed of enemies to a crawl, allowing characters to perform multiple attacks in quick succession. Not only that, but while Z.O.C. is activated, your attack power and stun damage will dramatically increase, making stunning enemies with high defense a breeze!
Plus, gather allies from all over Calvard and beyond and put a stop to Ouroboros' machinations in the Grim Garten, a dungeon that you can take on with your own custom party!
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Absolutely insane experience, the additional time they took at the expense of Kuro 2 being very meeh was worth it... ...But there are caveats SPOILER WARNING First of all - we are raising the bar with these cliffhangers, aren't we? First sky fc, then Sen I/Sen III, and now this. I really wonder where this is going to go from now on. That being said... wherever it decides to go, I DON'T want to se a fck ing garten or something similar EVER again. It was fine when entire game revolved around it like sky 3 or when it was just the last dungeon(though it was still tedious to go through this old schoolhouse in Sen I), but since Reverie it is just grind for the sake of grind and pleasing the ADHD kids that can't live without this stupid piece of timesink they got used to in modern gachas. Everything good that came out of garten - connection events and 9th domain ending, could be done separately without having to create this absolute mindless grindfest. I can't stress enough how I screamed at the monitor each time Altina called me to say that there is a new floor opened up. Especially hilarious and disgusting it is when it happens on Creil ruins. Like yeah, next time let's do the same thing in Hamel, I'm sure the fans will be in ecstasy(don't you fck ing dare). Okay, with that out of the question I have some smaller problems like Shizuna's connection event being like easily missable yet extremely important, especially since there is nothing about her past in the game that was shown in the trailer(which is fairly disappointing, I was really looking forward to know more about her), and the fight with Rixia/Zita/Ashen/uhh who was the 4th one there? In any case, whoever designed the difficulty for this fight was clearly high while doing so, this is by far the hardest fight in the game, where even on normal your enemies can get like 5 turns in a row and even with 50% damage reduction each of their hits can take up 30-40% hp. They just kill you can you can't do jack sh about it. Especially funny it is after absolutely fair fight with Sword Hermit on HARD, which I honestly expected to be MUCH harder, like McBurn/C/Loewe level of harndness, a bit disappointed here as well. But all of this(not the garten) pales in comparison to two things: Firstly, for series, that for 20+ years teaches us that you shouldn't just sacrifice yourself, you must do everything possible and impossible to push through - for the people around you... to do the very opposite thing. This feels very hollow, even if I totally agree that there wasn't another choice. Secondly, excuse me, but what was the reason behind all of it? Like in the end of the day our heroes did quite literally nothing in the grand scheme of things, they just went with the flow until the huge lore dump in the end, which wouldn't really change anything even if they had that info from the very beginning. The only thing that would change if they quite literally sat on the place and did nothing would be that they wouldn't know the truth behind the space launch and that's it. Im still partly laughing on Rean's route where Ka Fai said himself that he apparently taught Rean so that with a smallest chance after countless struggles he will find his way to the mountain range... figure out that Hamilton worked with Vestiges... and watch a rocket launch from sidelines? Like bruuuh, this is ridiculous. It works in the heat of a moment, but when you analyze it afterwards, it just makes no sense whatsoever. We'll see where it all goes in the next game, but for now again, if feels hollow, like it was for nothing. Yet, despite all of this above, I genuinely enjoyed the game. It IS a love letter to the series in the most part and a truest fanservice possible(though there is noone stopping you from adding a more common fanservice there on behalf of astonishingly good work from lakovic and others from LL). I just hope the series WOULD end someday and not become just a milking cow, losing all that made me fall in love with it years ago from the very first FC P.S. Almost forgot - this ending retroactively makes Lloyd from Reverie's finale such a piece of sh that it should genuinely be studied. He dropped really hard in my protag's raiting because of it

amazing. amazing. amazing. amazing. amazing. amazing. amazing. no other piece of art has truly infected my mind and soul in the same way this series has, and this game only intensifies it tenfold.
Game 13/13 And thus I've finally caught up after 3 years of playing this series. This series has genuinely become one of my top jrpgs of all time. Reaching the peaks of my favorite series Xenoblade Chronicles. This is quite literally the One Piece of JRPGs and I can't wait to play more until they finally conclude the story of Zemuria. And man what a way to finish the series this game was. Trails Beyond the Horizon is genuinely one of the best trails games for me. This was a top 3 TRAILS GAME for me. And the way they end this game is ABSOLUTELY DEMONIC. There is a special place in hell for the writers for ending this game there. The wait for Trails Beyond the Horizon 2 will be torturous is all I can say. This game has some of the best trails plot twists and turns, character moments and dialogue, and combat system I've seen. The places this game reaches in terms of lore and plot is something I could not have guessed. Theres also the fact that they're able to connect foreshadowings and plot points ALL THE WAY from 10 games ago is absolutely crazy to me. I love how they treat Agnes, Van, and even Kevin of all people in this game. A character whom I thought would have no more story to tell is able to have another compeling facet to their character arc post Trails in the Sky 3rd. In relation to that, the 3 MC format with the 3 routes that they do here is so good. I love how the MCs have their own thing going on and almost go into conflict with each other. Its a farcry from the usual them working together for the greater good etc. I like how Rean, Van and Kevin's groups have their own struggles and goals in mind. I really loved the way they paced this game. Its such a good step up from the Daybreak 2 blunder they had. I never felt tired or even burnt out during my playthrough because the revelations and the mysteries they present in this game were pretty compeling. They made a very mid plot device in daybreak 2 very interesting in Beyond the Horizon. My only gripes in the story are the connect event portions do break the momentum of some parts of the story. I also don't like that we had more questions than answers in this game. Although this is not really a big problem and moreso a nitpick since we still have one game to go in this arc presumably. Now onto the combat, man... how do they do it. They evolved the hybrid combat yet again and SOMEHOW made the animations look better even though they're using the same engine as Daybreak 1 and 2. Its crazy how simple camera work improves some of these cutscenes. The hybrid combat itself gets another glow up with the ZOC and shard tactics function (forgot its actual name). The Awakening during action combat is also really great and makes some low level enemies faster to farm. My only gripe is quick arts still seem weak and Grim garten was still not on the same level as reverie corridor in terms of endgame variety. Another disappointing aspect for me was the mecha battles. Theres not alot in this game but the few we had looked pretty meh gameplay wise. Nice animations but i hope they put more depth in the sequel. I miss the mecha battles in cold steel arc where you can select body parts to target. Overall, highly highly recommend this series. This was 100% worth it and if you like an interconnected story with very good worldbuilding ala One Piece this is for you. I cannot wait for more PEAK and truly hope they continue the momentum and stick the landing for this arc. (once they stop focusing on the sky remakes lol).
as someone new to the trails series, dont listen to other people trying to gatekeep. This game is going to be the reason I play the ones that came before it. Fun combat, interesting story so far, and a likeable cast of characters. If it looks interesting to you just buy it and experience peak

The 13th Trails game, and the 3rd game within the Calvard arc. Falcom went out of their way to make up for any disappointment people have had from Daybreak 2. Graphics and gameplay from the previous Daybreak games have been sharpened even further, and to spice things up the cast is joined by Rean and Kevin. The story is told by the events of 3 different parties of characters. Lots of fun and the best of the Calvard games so far. FAQ "can I start with this one?" Nope. Start with Sky FC/1st.
What a phenomenal game. Great story, great ending, great writing. The engine changes are great. Action combat feels very polished compared to DB2, and especially compared to DB1. The ending had me sobbing. Some may not like the game's pacing and act structure, but this is the 13th game in a series that has long since found its cadence and further complaints just feel like warbling after a while. Temper your expectations accordingly. I really hope Grim Garten is the last game-wide optional dungeon we see for a while, but (unlike Daybreak 2) the Garten's finale was absolutely worth it.
For a story i can even pardon horrible at that point generative dungeons gameplay, as main battle activity, and broken field battle, what is better in Sky remakes but here it's bad, better than in a 1 and 2 Daybreak but still bad. Ending.
goodbye my favorite series
