Reviews
The Last Stand: Aftermath is a standout entry in the zombie survival genre. I enjoyed it immensely—not just because of its post-apocalyptic setting and survival theme (two of my favorites), but because of its excellent gameplay, smart design, and its meaningful place within the Last Stand franchise. What I appreciated most was how Aftermath continues and expands on the world of the original Flash games. When I saw it was part of a franchise, I actually paused and went back to play the earlier entries first—and I recommend others do the same. They’re fun, quick, and capture the charm of the Flash era with simple mechanics and evolving gameplay across each installment. Aftermath itself is a roguelite, where each run is built around a doomed protagonist already infected with the virus. Because you’re terminal, your community sends you beyond the walls on dangerous supply runs. Over time, your infection mutates—giving you a mix of buffs and debuffs that significantly affect your run. Learning to manage the infection becomes part of the challenge and is tied into a persistent progression system called "Knowledge," which carries over between characters. And yes—you will die. A lot. Sometimes it’s your fault, sometimes it's the environment. The game tracks sound levels, broken windows, car noise, kicking in doors, even if zombies moan when they see you. Other deaths come from traps, infection surges, or just bad luck. But that’s part of the brilliance. Every run feels tense and earned. The procedurally generated maps offer a solid variety, with recurring landmarks and boss encounters anchoring each region. Environmental storytelling is also strong—from abandoned houses to overgrown streets, each area hints at the collapse of civilization. Dialogue and documents add layers to the mystery behind the outbreak. The game features four zones. Once you’ve completed a zone, future characters can skip it—if you have enough fuel. The final zone always requires a full playthrough, and resource planning becomes key, especially if you're chasing 100% achievements. You can unlock and play as different characters, each with unique starting gear and background perks. While these distinctions blur as your permanent unlocks grow, early-game choices (like picking a background that might help you find more batteries or scrap) still matter—especially since batteries and scrap are critical resources. The overarching story is mysterious and engaging, if not entirely surprising. My only real complaint is the lack of a base-building system. It felt like a missed opportunity, especially since the postgame introduces higher difficulties and the quest for a cure. That would have been the perfect time to expand the survivor base—but I’m nitpicking. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed The Last Stand: Aftermath. It stands just behind Left 4 Dead 2 and State of Decay 2 on my list of favorite zombie games—and that's high praise. If you're in the mood for something fresh in the genre, give this one a shot. You might be surprised by how much it grabs you.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Solid game, well worth the price.
Понравилась игра
A bit clunky, a bit rough around the edges, but overall an enjoyable zombie roguelite. Once you start to unlock more crafting recipes and weapons the game really shines.
A good one!
Decent little game to play for a couple hours. I would recommend getting it on sale like I did for like $4.99. Mainly bought to support indie game dev.
Хорошая игруха!
Best Roguelite Zombie Apocalypse
is like a solid-okay-game with some well needed polish, but still fun enough for me to fall into time-blindness. i swear idek why time flies so fast when i play this game every sesh feels like maybe an hour and then i look at the clock like wtf when did 3 hours pass?? the storyline ending was underwhelming and the gameloop kinda just turns into a grind-endgame-points every sesh after you reach the final stage. not quite sure if this is worth $30 but i've been a fan of Con Artist & Armour Games ever since i was playing their webgames as kid
This game has no right to be as good as it is. Fun gameplay loop, good crafting, skill trees etc doesn't try to do more than it needs to, to just have fun. A bit more optimisation would be great otherwise better than a trip to the movies.
