Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

Reviews
This can be a great game, loads to explore, usual grind required, no need to follow storyline, just do your own thing. Problem is the number of crashes and graphic issues the game still has. It is early access but it's supposed to be close to full release, the last 5.5 update has made things even worse than previously. I've got almost 100 hours into the game and it's been fun, but if you do go for it remember to save at every opportunity, otherwise all the crashes will drive you potty...
I love the graphics and the mechanics in this game.

The dev's have a winner on their hands. Frequent updates, patches and new content and they have an awesome roadmap for future . On the open water, building on your boat however you want, building up storage areas around the map, graphics, water physics are awesome. I've experienced very few hiccups and looking forward to the future of this game. When it comes out on console, I'll probably pick it up there also. I can tell you right now, if they have future paid DLC coming, take my money...LOL Great job and keep up the good work.
未来可期
As a soloist, I really like this game. I love the exploration and building aspect, the sailing on open seas and finding clues here and there along the way about the world this is in and puzzling it out with fellow Last Caretaker players. I've not really had any game issue other than that one time a shark yeeted my ship, sending it off on a trip of its own through the skies and lost the engine boosters. That was entertaining. I recommend it to others who are soloists and want to lose themselves in a world of sailing, exploring and building.
I feel this is one of the underrated under dogs of the Survival genre. This game is absolutely beautiful and has a game play loop that scratches the itch much like Subnautica and the story is unique in its telling in how you become the hero of a desolate planet that has so much to explore. Just you and the open seas to traverse. building your purpose as you continue through the story. the eerie deep depths of the ocean and serene sunsets, followed by a lightning storm you don't know if you'll make it through. it always has me back at the helm hoping for the rise of humanity once more.
Open world game with tasks oriented gameplay. There is some shooting but not the main thing going on. Truly enjoyable. It is low pace and deliberate, so a good low burn game.
got to the first relay station, enimeies kept spawing and beat me down till i had no energy left on the ship.
