Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.71/day in the week to Sep 1 → 39.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The world you knew is gone.
You awaken as the last active Caretaker, a machine built for one purpose: save humanity. Across a vast ocean covering the ruins of Earth, you must recover human seeds, restore the Lazarus Complex, and prepare the next generation for launch into orbit.
The Last Caretaker is a first-person survival-crafting game about systems, choices, and purpose. Every resource matters. Every structure has a reason to exist. Every success gives humanity one more chance.

Recover human seeds and return them to the Lazarus Complex. Manage their growth, restore memory data, and prepare them for life beyond Earth.
Scavenge abandoned facilities, dismantle wreckage, and recycle materials into tools, weapons, power networks, and essential modules. Restore the machinery needed to keep the mission alive.
Rogue machines, hostile systems and the world itself will push back. Repair and maintain, upgrade your equipment, and protect what remains.
Restore ancient launch infrastructure, chart the ocean, gather resources and memories, and send the humans you raised into orbit. The mission is not survival for its own sake. It is a continuation.
Explore silent Sanctuary docks, Refuel Outposts, Underwater cities, and long-forgotten Seed Vaults. The story is uncovered through places, logs, memories, and the remains of a civilization that tried to outlive its own world.

It's fun for what it is, a survivalist/builder style game. No where near as hardcore as say Rust or Ark. You have to maintain your characters Power, which early on does deplete rather quickly. As you play though you'll upgrade your battery capacity and power efficiency which will lead to very long battery life. Like most survival games the early part of the game is just getting established enough to not be running out of power, not need basic things like iron or plastic anymore to build. Then you get to the 2nd phase, expanding your boat and rebuilding humanity. Where in most of these games you build a base to explore from, in this your base is mobile and the foundation given to you. This makes exploring, in theory, more convenient but also means you have limited build space, so choose your gizmos wisely. I say in theory because in reality exploring in this is a chore. The primary issue being no points of interest, other than the handful you start with around you the gameworld is exceedingly empty and bland. This has been consistent across multiple major 'content additions'. I've been with this game since it LAUNCHED into early access, we are at 5.5 now and I'm telling you, other than a few new vehicles, which were in no way needed and have scripted timelocks on them so you can't even access them until you meet certain narrative requirements, nothing appears added, improved or anything. Content wise. I will say the game appears to be running much better, just in general. Cables used to be all over, the boat used to freak out in bad storms, weather was very bland. There is now a variety of weather, it runs much less janky and cables appear to be normal cables. They've fixed a lot under the hood over early access. But I still recommend it, because it is very well made at its core. If you enjoy gathering, building and a bit of fighting, this is a great example of that mix. I only wish it was 2 player co-op, single player begins to feel tedious. A lot of resources require endless gathering, then combined with the fact that things like power sources require repair on a regular basis. Mid/Late game just the upkeep become a chore, but such is true for most survival games that require you to upkeep/repair basic structures. I do run into some performance issues, especially when sailing the ocean and the sea is anything but calm. Calm ocean is fine, but any waves and my FPS plummet. Game runs around 50+ FPS on "high" with ray trace ON but all the special RT features OFF. I average about 60 FPS indoors and about 50 FPS outdoors except for when at sea on the ship. Rain makes it worse and fog seems to make it better.

If you've got too much time this is the game for you. 5 more minutes for 6 hours.
Игра которой срочно нужен кооператив.
This game got me really immersed for awhile ; looting and exploring. Well done mechanics and atmosphere. The game content is slightly lacking but, being in Early Access, I can understand. Totally recommend this game. 10/10
Absolutely addicted to this game. Super satisfying, and rewarding for putting in time to understand. And the care the devs put into the game you can see it everywhere
The most potential of any survival crafting game I've ever played in my opinion. The game as is already my favorite game. My favorite part is the atmosphere, the loneliness, the music, the feel of venturing out finding more resources and uncovering more story. As a survival game, power as sustenance is a cool concept and it's easy to manage while having a necessary limitation. As a crafting game, the destruction, loot, creation loop is fantastic. You are mainly limited to your boat for building (while you can build bases on any structure), but the ability to put nearly any item anywhere, roof, ceiling, walls or bottom of the boat is an incredible quality of life feature. The only thing I'm really hopeful for is multiplayer. Well worth full price.
игра затягивает, не замечаешь как пролетает время, очень интересно исследовать мир очень понравилась
This game is a little sandbox and a little story. It reminds me of my first time playing breath of the wild, mixed with vibes of Horizon Zero Dawn. You want to explore like Breath of the Wild, and it has a story that I am enjoying that has mystery. Add in some crafting, base building, and resource management, and it's like it was made for me.
This can be a great game, loads to explore, usual grind required, no need to follow storyline, just do your own thing. Problem is the number of crashes and graphic issues the game still has. It is early access but it's supposed to be close to full release, the last 5.5 update has made things even worse than previously. I've got almost 100 hours into the game and it's been fun, but if you do go for it remember to save at every opportunity, otherwise all the crashes will drive you potty...
The dev's have a winner on their hands. Frequent updates, patches and new content and they have an awesome roadmap for future . On the open water, building on your boat however you want, building up storage areas around the map, graphics, water physics are awesome. I've experienced very few hiccups and looking forward to the future of this game. When it comes out on console, I'll probably pick it up there also. I can tell you right now, if they have future paid DLC coming, take my money...LOL Great job and keep up the good work.
