The Lab - Escape Room

Amazing escape room game with engaging puzzles. Some are very straightforward, others require some thought. If you get tripped up for too long, the hint system can get you on the right track without actually giving you the answer so you still have to work through it. I was only really stumped by one puzzle in the electricity room (which when I looked at the guide, it all made sense). I recommend it to those who like puzzles with a good challenge. Also, to note that the loose story was actually pretty interesting. Would make an interesting movie/tv concept.

SHUCKS!! This game could have been really good... The graphics are great, the atmosphere and sounds are perfect, and the game played without even the slightest bug, but: Some of the puzzles are logical and make perfect sense, and others are hard.(which is fine) However, some are So Off The Wall that the built in hint system is just a frustrating Joke! As a matter of fact, some are So Ridiculous that even after you go online and watch a walk-through, they STILL don't make any sense. Perhaps it was just me, but I didn't like the game after the first hour or two. After that, it just became this vague Chore to "Just Get To The End". I only gave it a thumbs up because SOME people like this kind of non-enjoyable, head hurt and the game LOOKED so good and ran so flawlessly, that I just couldn't give it a thumbs down. (ONLY if you can get it for 5 bucks or less) I WILL be deleting this from my machine because I NEVER want to see it again! [Wish Steam had a Neutral Vote]

Gra jest bardzo 6/10. Większość zagadek jest naprawdę fajna, ale, niestety, oprócz nich istnieją takie, które są nieintuicyjne i rzucają cień na swoje dobre odpowiedniki, zniechęcając do kombinowania i samodzielnego szukania rozwiązania. Dodatkowym problemem jest wykonanie niektórych zagadek, które byłyby naprawdę fajne, gdyby nie frustrujący sposób, w jaki zostały zaimplementowane - aż nie mogę uwierzyć, że żaden z testerów nie zwrócił na nie uwagi, bo gdyby to zrobił, twórcy mogliby je naprawić w trymiga. Dużym problemem gry jest także jej wydajność - posiadam naprawdę dobry komputer, ale podczas gry na najniższych ustawieniach graficznych ciągle napotykałem problemy ze spadającymi klatkami na sekundę, najczęściej przy zbyt szybkim obracaniu, ale czasami również przez samo patrzenie w danym kierunku. Co ważne, problem ten istnieje pomimo tego, że twórcy mieli go niedawno naprawić. Podsumowując, jest to całkiem fajna gra logiczna, ale ma kilka błędów, które sprawiają, że nie mogę wystawić jej dobrej oceny. Nawet biorąc pod uwagę fakt, że została stworzona przez dwie osoby, nie jest po prostu warta swojej ceny.

Well-paced and engaging escape room game. The lab setting creates a nice sense of tension, and the puzzles are clever without being frustrating. A solid option for anyone who enjoys solving challenges in a sci-fi atmosphere.

It's alright. Decently challenging puzzles and good atmosphere. It is a bit on the short side though.

The developer isn't even capable of programming a proper menu. No text... after multiple attempts I finally managed. Now the game won't start, nothing works in the menu. This is rubbish.

Great fun! Loved the puzzles and the story!
