Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 11 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Repetitive but very fun
I'm 57 hrs into this. I love it. If u understand WW1 then this is a fantastic way to experince the strategy challenges. I have played the medium campaign,. Now trying the next up. Its hard. If you rush around you will die. If u don't pay attention to the campaign map, and use spies. You'll have a hard time. Also be careful what u chose for tech. This is a game where u need to think.
Another game that should be mixed instead of a positive or a negative. So i am going to give it a rating based on the good and bad The good: * The only historical world war 1 strategy game * If you are a historical fan of me, genuinely get it during a sale * Its addictive in the just one more turn sense * Runs mostly stable, i only have some moments where it decides to go window itself, this is easily ignorable * Easy to learn, hard to master. * The voice-overs are good and authentic language is used. The mixed: * Once you invent tanks, get ready for w#nks, i had my first sweep when i used them, feels historically accurate, but i just drove them over the map clearing 3 victory points before being stopped, and that wasnmennit trying. * Escalation of the war: worse weapons are used, but they dont feel like they have s impact * The Research tree looks better than any other game i have played so far, but the Research tree has some irrelevant items (the improved research for events tech is a big one) The bad: * Stay in your trench ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soldier (sometimes a move order causes soldiers to get out of their trench causing them to be moved down) * You can recruit tanks and planes, but not Infantry, which get replenished * Planes feel EXTREMELY clunky * It feels like AI is cheating and always know where you units are, i had artillery called on them the moment they entered the field. * The price (34,99 euro's is just too much, get it on a sale) * Audio could be of better quality, the music is too Lighthearted for such a grevious moment in history * AI feels repetitive and tends to attack on the same way every battle, consistently they send 3 man down, and then either wait you out if you are attacking or keep sending the same wave over and over again when defending. * Game lacks events with impacts, disease is barely a issue in the trenches You dont notice the problems when you are new, but you definitely do when you are in the middle of a campaign In a weird way the negative points help, trench warfare is brutal repetitive and boring and paranoia inducing which is why i can recommend this game
Man I really wanted to like this game but I can't and its mostly an issue of controls/pathfinding. Units instead of moving through trenches will get out of then trench then getting to the trench right next to them all while under artillery fire thus dying. They are slow to start shooting if they are out of a trench, won't just walk straight etc etc. In a game where death is measured in seconds this leads to the game being far to frustrating.
I really want to like this game. Mechanically I think it nails the setting. It does a great job of capturing how positional and back and forth World War One is, the importance of artillery, how technology allowed from incremental advantages (until the gap was plugged by the other side). The problem is the game feels very.... stagnant. I get its World War One, and on the strategic map its exciting to gain that one more hex youve ground against for so long. But on the tactical map? Battlefields are supposed to reflect each successive battle, so destroying a forest today leaves it snapped and burnt tomorrow. But its very thin, doesn't give you any new gameplay choices, and really is very limited to just one or two cosmetic changes and some leftover trenches and craters IF! you bring super heavy arty (but not if you take the lighter stuff). And the battles themselves often play out the same. You plop down your trench line, infantry, and supporting weapons. Launch the battle. The enemy AI rushes you. You absorb their attack, trying to take as few losses of your own as possible. Then you get out of your trench and throw a massive doompile of infantry against a very narrow section of their positions. Becuase you have recon aircraft you know where their support assets are, what the trench layout is, and how best to approach. If you succed you take basically zero casualties. If you fail, your units melt immediately. Once you get their layout figure out, you suppress, assault, cleanup, repeat till either you run out of reinforcements or they do. At first, again, very fun. But the fifth time you do it with almost no change? Very boring. Battles turn into a numbers game, do you have enough arty & infantry to choke the allies before they choke you? If so, win. If not, lose. No counter play, no tactics. Ultimately this is a great game to get on sale, and if it ever got a DLC (unlikely, now) it would probably be bomb. This game needs some love, and someone to make good on its promise. Few games get trench warfare right, and this game does. It just needs more. What I would love to see, and it wouldn't even really need more maps, is for your actions & repeated battles to open up new tactical possibilities during a fight. Give the AI a better sense of offensive vs. defensive and make it fight a little more accurately, rather than hunkering down in four or five scratch positions you can just outflank. This is a clear 7/10 game that could be 9/10 if it had gotten some more love. But alas, this seems doomed to a disappointing death.

Outstanding attritional focus of combat and the tutorial did what it needed to. I do wonder exactly how much AI cheating is going on, but besides that, its a great game
