Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Microsoft is basically putting this game on life support and killing it. There is no reason to start playing this game anymore if you haven't already. Huge layoffs across the entire gaming industry from Microsoft are having real affects on all their live service games, and I'm sure all their future games will be AI Slop. Maybe if Microsoft wasn't losing so much money by investing in AI that no normal person is excited about, then they wouldn't have to fire over 60% percent of the team that has been caring for this game for over a decade, not to mention all the other studios they demolished and outright closed down in 2026 alone.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

If you love the world of Elder Scrolls, this is for you, if you love the rich lore and stories of this world, this is for you. For me this was my first MMO ever back when it first released in 2014 on console before moving to PC 4 years later so ESO has a special place in my heart, With that being said I think I've finally burned out on this game after so many years and it's taken me 2 years too late to realize it. After last years announcement of the transition from paid Content to new content via Updates and inserting Seasons, they confirmed that my enjoyment for the game has decreased every year, going so far as to put the game on hiatus for 2-3 years and coming back to play catch and not feel any sense of urgency of missing out on anything "Special" in terms of story content. After having played both of the new Storylines for this Season or rather for the year I can safely say I wasn't satisfied. The storylines were fine enough (roughly 10hrs worth of content in total) but With the new Seasons ordeal having a different theme and focus in terms of the type of content that released, they leave a lot to be desired to have to wait a year or year and and a half for new story content that may more may not be more my cup of tea. I like the idea of not having to pay for content anymore but the frequency and quality in story content just isn't up to par with what I come to expect Pros: -Plenty of years worth of Storylines to immersive yourself in from over the years since release. -Beautiful and immersive world to get lost in and explore and call home. -Music is some of the best I've listened to in any series -Voice Acting cast is top notch and adds a huge level of immersion Cons: -Delivery of story content is lacking heavily, could use cutscenes or other in-game story tools to tell it's story instead of having standoff's with NPC's with stiff animations that just give you the details and what your next task which can be unimmersive after a while. -Storylines can be played in any order by players which is fine except for the fact that none of the storylines have any sense of urgency or forward progression to the overall worlds story or character developments. Some storylines (like the last 3) act as sequels to storylines previously established but even those feel standalone enough to not need to play previous content. Overall: I've enjoyed my time with ESO over the last 12 years but I've come to the conclusion that what is here, isn't enough for me or what I'm looking for anymore. Especially in terms of it's story content and the way it's presented and delivered. I think now is the time I step away and try other things, give the developers time to cook and figure out what the future of ESO is going to be because as it stands I'm done with ESO.
After 11 years of dedication and loyalty, I'm finally done with Skyrim and ESO, after yesterday's lay-offs to some of the most passionate and dedicated gaming employees I've seen. It's finally gone too far. Microsoft is one of the big companies ruining the entire gaming experience. On to the next hobby. All the best to the MANY who have been laid off through this company!!!
Lovely and huge MMO. Since cosmetics is the real endgame for me I can highly recommend this game. Some of the newer tmogs from WoW looks better. But ESO still doing a good job giving us good cosmetic options. The sub is fairly cheap, convenient and unlock DLCs and such. A negative is the community. Alot of people do not speak in the public chat or in dungeons. You see a bunch of people in the game but zone chat can be dead for hours. And I hate people running through dungeons without saying a word and skipping all enemies beside the bosses, seriously anti-social. I mean why even play an MMO? Quest and story range from garbage to fully immersive story driven adventures. Overall really good story telling. Recommend and one of the top 3 MMOs on the market rn 👍🏻
can i get my money back? i didn't put time and energy into a game that is gonna be hijacked by some billionaires ruining yet another thing. i started playing on Xbox and switched to pc recently. what a way to kill a game and a community by laying off the heart of the franchise. Am i able to double thumbs down this?
I used to love playing this game but stopped because I was uncertain how the future of the game looked and if they were planning future releases. But after recent updates to the game it seemed clear that the future was promising and that the game would be receiving new content for a while. Of course as soon as I install the game again Microsh!t (Microsoft) decides to include Zenimax in their typical corporate BS and layoff half the team. I can no longer recommend this game nor will I support products that partake in this type of behavior. I was always iffy about game studios that were acquired by Microcrap but now this is the nail in the coffin. I would hope someone in Microsoft that is higher up in the diluted management chain would see this and realize customers don't want to support their sloppy behavior in these recent years but they're so out of touch with reality that I doubt they will nor do I expect them to not lay people off as that just seems to be so ingrained into their corporate culture. Less people working on the game while trying to maintain the same content and release schedule is going to lead to a bunch of corners being cut. Unless Microsoft management gets their heads out of their asses then I can no longer support this game or any of the other games from them for that matter.
Seriously BEST mmorpg ever made... (WoW cannot be even called ''game'' compared to it ;) SS; +96/+100
Cant recommend this or any other Microsoft operated product on any marketplace. Microslop's mass layoff are a joke and they deserve all the hate in the world for it.
