Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Deliver Them From Darkness
Come to see what all this is about, have you? Right then, I'll fill you in. The Deadly Path is a thrilling building management and roguelike real-time strategy game. It's down to you to do some serious grovelling, gathering and building if you want to survive it. See, you're the Custodian, and you're in the bad books with the fearsome gods of the Dread Pantheon who you're trapped here with.
If you ever want to see the dim light of day again, you'll need to keep these Dread Deities sweet. And that means bringing about their rightful ascension...by whatever means necessary.
Anyway, down here in this grimly fascinating fantasy underworld, you've got to flex your strategic muscles. The Deadly Path's got an easy-to-pick-up but tricky-to-master game loop; the gods aren't planning on making it easy for you.
Still, it's not all stick and no carrot. You'll get to dote on different dastardly deities, construct wicked dungeon defences, and gather vital and vile materials. You know, for upgrades, sacrificial rituals, demonstrating your devotion, all the usual demonic deeds.
As you expand your burgeoning empire of darkness, you'll usher in new eras of progress and help the Dread Pantheon out on their quest for revenge. Oh, and you get to micromanage a whole gamut of rancid but otherwise dutiful servants. Sounds fun, eh?
Here's some of the gritty details:
An epic roster of demonic Dread Deities to prove yourself to, each with its own gameplay quirks, perks and victory conditions.
Excavate a riveting range of Entombed Tiles as you expand your base.
Construct unique buildings, boneyards and fabricators to bolster your stockpiles.
Defend the Dread domain from attackers and other unseen threats with your servant army.
Advance through the Ages to unlock and uncover new tiles, loot, minions and possibilities.
Gain the aid of the Custodians and wield the power of Charms.
Forge a powerful Idol to appease each of the Dread Deities as you toil in preparation for their ascension.
Manage all of that, and you might just make it through The Deadly Path in one piece.

Game is broken to the point of not running on my machine.
没有云存档!我们需要Steam 云cloud,然后就是随机性太高,要roll开局。建议加一个建造后消耗资源增减预示,不然结算前造个建筑人没了!!,,云存档需要,急急急
I liked the first couple of rulers. They were fun. Then they become harder with nothing to balance that and you just need to find that one building to win and if you don't - you're screwed, start again. Game is unbalanced and was abandoned almost instantly after the release. Such a pity, because the concept was very promising

The game is good but not finished. You have 3 difrent speed optione and pause. The problem is during pause you canot bild. Witch is big problem late game cuz more you expand more LAG YOU HAVE. The game must be optimaze or we must bild during pause mode. devs need to make a choise...
要么搞好优化,要么改改你这个暂停机制。一边是频繁的工人调配,一边是极其卡顿的操作界面,体验非常差。
this game is in desperate need of love and attention from the people who made it. It's a really interesting concept, and I really like it, but it's really very broken. You can play it for a long time and have a good go of it-- that's what I did-- but you have to be willing to put up with a game that gets worse the farther you go into it. The Maw is an obvious jump in difficulty, requiring some map generation luck. However, that's nothing compared to the level of fortune you need to complete a stage like the Brass Leviathan, where you will spend the first 10 turns praying to the damn thing that it gives you a way to generate more bones. The game unpauses itself at strange times, it is possible to load into a completely broken map on a restart, the achievements for completing a stage trigger upon simply spending a certain amount of time in a stage, I have no idea how to unlock the next level of difficulty for a given god, and there is no guidance given on how to increase the energy chits needed to equip higher level charms. Sometimes I meet a condition that should unlock a new character to play and it... doesn't. If this game were still supported by the people who made it, I would recommend it wholeheartedly. But it's not, and that's rather sad to me. I've not played anything else quite like it.
(This is a mostly-negative review, but it is still a "thumbs-up" because every game is a miracle for existing. These devs don't deserve un-recommendation, because they've brought good ideas to the table. And you really might actually like it in ways I couldn't.) Two things about this game got me walking away from it: 1) It's a little too hard to find the rarer tiles that are needed to advance ages and complete scenarios. For all ~3 of the runs I played, I had done the work to manage my economy, knew what needed to happen to finish, but then ran into a slog of uncovering *so many* tiles in order to find enough Graveyards or Chasms or whatever to actually seal the deal. Some kind of better control over this -- maybe an ability to highlight a region of the board where a rare tile would be, or an ability to "summon" chosen tiles for resources -- would have helped balance this problem. 2) No saving mid-run. Why??? It's a shame, because I did really like what was going on here. It seems the devs are going for a Cultist-Simulator style game that's less opaque in its workings, and can therefore be managed like something more like a fast-based, real time-ish city-builder. I could see how the system could branch and complicate and get very satisfying, but all I could think of was that awful slog I'd probably have to go through to find rarer tiles, and I couldn't get myself to look forward to going deeper in the game. (Yes, there are also bugs and the controls/UI are kind of wonky, but I could have tolerated those if the game systems themselves were tweaked to address what I flagged above.) Ultimately I do recommend trying this game, and if you can stomach the pacing then you might find something you really enjoy.
纯运气游戏 人为因素很少 开局兵营旁边出入口 我玩nm? 技能给的好随便过给的垃圾纯赤石 没赤过石的都来赤 开发商跑路了 低血压的可以玩玩 包治好的
Can't get it to run on mac even though it says it runs on macs. Get an error at start every time. Bought the full game. No luck.
Buggy mess with mediocre gameplay and confused writing underneath. It does have a lovely style and great tunes, but those can't carry the rest. Definitely not worth it, despite how much I wanted it to be otherwise. Some more details: Moment to moment gameplay is severely undercooked with bad UI/UX getting in the way constantly. Given that you can't do anything while the game is paused, you are forced to hurriedly micro manage 100 different things at once, all of which take more clicks than they should. The UI either hides or simply lacks many of the info you'd hope it would offer. (like, you know, showing what can be build where without clicking on it. Or showing how much of a resource you are currently earning per second. Or showing the meat cost of excavating without having to hover, or allowing you to select several tiles to excavate at once. Or moving units without it being a three step process. Or, like allowing me to zoom out far enough to actually see more than a quarter of what is going on.) But even if you would mod the UI to do it's job, the underlying game would not be worth the hassle. It relies so heavily on randomness, it's comedic. The core game revolves around unlocking building slots/tiles, depending on their type you can build different things there. You get the tiles you need? Great, no thinking required, turns into a micro management heavy idle game. You don't get the tiles you need? Great, welcome to accidental hard-mode. Or even impossible mode. You wanna change which buildings you have available to better use what the map gives you? Yeah buddy, me too. Sadly, that's also RNG dependant and you get only a limited amounts of tries there. Once I ended up unearthing the entire map and not getting a single tile of the type I needed to win. So I just sat there grudgingly micro managing a large settlement for several cycles until a random level up rewards deigned to finally grant me another building to generate the resource I need. Which I then had to wait for another few cycles to actually generate enough of that to "win". Another run the game decided I don't need tiles that can hold houses. Which was fixable later in that runs progression, but it just slows it down and makes it severely harder to get anywhere. "Luckily" I didn't get to finish that run, cause the UI deadlocked itself. Dimming the screen and blocking some but not all game actions. Since you can't save, that run was lost. Lastly, for a game with such evocative art and occult vibes, there's like no lore or worldbuilding. Any writing I found is, well... I do like the poem for the intro cutscene. But it's downhill from there. Building descriptions repeatedly go for cheap meme stuff like "is this what generational wealth looks like" and other such highlights. Which undermines what was still left of it's atmosphere. I wish I could play the alternate reality version of this game where it clicks together properly, cause it's vibe is just so much up my alley.
