Great game. Would pay for the sound tracks and art works. Keep going!
крутая игра
Essa desgraça virou um dos meus novels favoritos, uma bomba que eu tenho uma relação de amor e ódio ao mesmo tempo, fica no meu top 1 eu acho, se pah era esse o intuito do jogo, causar desconforto, ou algo parecido
Truly deserving of the psychological horror title. Ironically, the murder, cannibalism, and satanism are the most tame (and personally, the least interesting) aspects of tcoaal. What will really horrify you are the realizations of just how dysfunctional the brain can truly become, and how impossible it feels to escape the mental blocks and cycles that traumatize you. I first played the demo on Itch.io, then as early access released, controversy broke out online. I was hesitant to pick it up again because I was unsure if I wanted to find out why characters like Andrew and Ashley exist (some creators of psychological games are creepy weirdos....Omori..) After 3 years of the game coming in and out of my memory, I finally felt capable of sitting through the discomfort and tried to understand what story was really being told. I'm so glad I did. This game is far more heartbreaking than leads on and is deeply misunderstood. Tcoaal tells a very bold story about child neglect and emotional abuse, and one path of many they can bring children down (in this case, co-dependency). The "About" Section pretty much sums it up perfectly. You can either break the cycle and try to heal, or ignore the toxicity and deal with the consequences. Look past the cute art style. Don't romanticize this mess please
Love this game very much. Although there are many dark content and mean-spirited dialogue, I see them as some kinds of metaphors. The metaphors are everywhere in this game. As for the art style and characters, They are very darkly-cute( especially Leyley—well, no doubt she is annoying). Andy and Leyley are both complex and fascinating, like shadow and light or more precisely, different aspects of the same thing. I had intended to wait for the Burial Route (I've been longing for the follow-up, last year I had finished Chapter 2 already), until recently, when I started playing the Decay route... The game is indeed attractive and has a lot of psychological depth. I think It’s genius.
