Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.44/day in the week to Aug 4 → 31.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Super underrated game. The lore is so sick. It is stuck in a codex. I wish it was fed to you a little more in game but it’s a great game. Visuals are stunning and dense. Highly recommended. Plays great on steam deck out of the box on high settings

Pro's: Amazing atmosphere Great soundtrack good enemy variety Hidden items / upgrades gives you motivation to search the whole map Souls-likeish combat (until you find some crazy hidden weapons) Good Gun Variety Neutral: Voice acting could be better but not aweful Wish it had more melee options (One base game, three more with dlc) Cons: Occassional crashes (at the time of this review ive experienced about 5 crashes total) Quest markers glitch here and there (can be reset by returning to the central area) Huge difficulty spike boss early in the game, gives you a bit of shell shock (other bosses are still good and not nearly as hard) Overall: Id recommend this game if you into cyberpunk souls likes, i paid full price for the game and the DLC given the time ive put in im happy with my purchase but it couldnt hurt to wait for a sale to really get your money's worth. With this review being posted i still have a few side quests to finish, and few more items to loot from the map. Id guestimate to 100% the game itd take about 30 - 40 hrs depending on how fast you want to move!
Fix your garbage. It crashed booting up. It crashed going to the options menu. It crashed making a new character. It's constantly stuck when loading assets, so I don't know if it's frozen and about to crash or just thinking. It crashed loading the first level. It crashed after about 20 steps down the first hallway of the first level. I have a pretty decent rig, and lowered all the graphics settings a few ticks and matched the native resolution of my monitor in fullscreen mode. This game is going to be very tough to play, and if I get to 1hr 50min playtime and have even 1 more crash, I'm returning it. It's a shame, this looks like a fun game and the visuals are really beautiful, but the tech side of things it just trash. EDIT: Yup, at least I made it further this time. A full 10 minutes before it crashed. But this time it crashed hard enough to reboot my entire system.
Crashed 6 times in 4 hours, with a friend of mine and in singleplayer, wow!
save lost after 4 hours. the threads on reddit and here sayed it is a problem for years and i saw a developer post from 2021 that they will fix it. Okay cool greetings from 2026.
Absolute unplayable game in coop mode. AFter couple of game hoers we got visual bugm that we cant fix anymore. WE can see loot, and enemies are moving in default position without animations. 0/10. DO not buy this bugy crap.
Crashed 3 times in 2 hours
A fascinating, fluid game with a very well fleshed out world to dive into. If you enjoy the Cyberpunk genre, this certainly gets the vibes right. On an ultrawide OLED monitor with RT enabled, The Ascent is striking. Easy recommendation as the game is worth the admission cost, but especially if you can run the higher settings that capitalize on the good looks.
