The Ascent

One of the best Cyberpunk games there is. Firstly the art style, attention to detail, world and atmosphere are beautifully realized, I think its even better than Cyberpunk 2077, truly stunning. The characters, story and amazing deep and interesting lore are really well written, its well worth reading all the codex entries, they really flesh out the locations, history, characters, cooperation's, tech and world you explore. The progression system is extremely well done, you really do have so many upgrades, augments and weapons to tinker with and you really do feel like you are getting stronger as the game progresses. There are plenty of builds you can put together and you are not limited to one style and you can reset if needed which is great for experimentation. The combat is amazing, the weapons are varied, powerful, punchy and have some of the best sound design I have heard which really adds to the feel and strength of them. The augments are insane and can be quite a spectacle and do some heavy damage if you upgrade correctly, there are also quite a variety of them which can tie into your build depending on how you want to play, there is something for all styles. The music has some great tracks as you are just exploring and some bangers when things heat up, really good and feels very Cyberpunk. All in all if you are interested in the Cyberpunk genre in any way at all this is well worth getting.
