So, I bought Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown at a ridiculous discount — eighty percent off. In rubles, that's 240 rubles; in dollars, I can't say exactly right now, I don't remember. My PC setup: Intel Core i5-11400F, RTX 3080 Ti with 12 GB, and 16 GB of RAM. And the game stutters, lags, freezes on me. I don't even know what else to say. It's an absolute nightmare! Developers, please tell me what the hell you're doing and why you're charging 2000 rubles? I'm talking about Russia. I don't know how much it costs over there in Europe, but this game is unoptimized — a completely raw product. What I'll also say: considering that this product has been out for two years now, the whole situation is just absurd. I mean, seriously — in two years they could've fixed the optimization, patched the crashes, polished the physics. But no — the game was raw at release, and it's still raw. And personally, I really think it was rushed out just to close the fiscal year. There was no testing before release — because if they had even tried playing their own game on a mid-range or even high-end PC, they would've seen these crashes and FPS drops. There's no way they could've missed them. And that's why it feels like the game is stuck in 2017 and isn't even trying to look modern. And yet TDU had so much potential — I remember how much I enjoyed the first games. But here, they just killed it — with carelessness, greed, and the urge to push the product onto the shelf as soon as possible, just to make a quick buck. And one more thing: the first two Test Drive Unlimited games were way better and more beautiful. Yes, the first TDU came out in September 2006 — it's almost 20 years old now. The second one came out in February 2011 — it's 15 years old. And they played so much more pleasantly than this. What even is this? Tell me, for God's sake, developers. This is just a mind-blowing dystopian mess, damn it! This game simply cannot be praised. And compared to Forza Horizon: Forza Horizon 6 came out in 2026, two years after TDU Solar Crown, but it looks and runs way better. And if we remember Forza Horizon 4 (2018), which is almost 8 years old, even it looks more pleasant and is better optimized than this "modern" project. So TDU Solar Crown loses in terms of graphics and optimization not only to the fresh Forza Horizon 6, but even to its eight-year-old predecessor. That's just a disaster. To repeat: on my setup, everything lags. And the funniest part — at launch, the game automatically set everything to low settings. But when Forza Horizon 6 came out, it set high settings for me on the first run. Meanwhile, your piece of junk set everything to low quality. I turned off V‑Sync, set it to 165 FPS (matching my monitor's refresh rate), and then it became somewhat playable — but it still stutters. And the physics, guys — what's wrong with the physics? What are you even doing? It's worse than in the first TDU, even though that one is 20 years old. It's basically a throwback to the past, but in a downgraded form. Не знаю, сколько у вас там в Европе это стоит, но игра не оптимизирована — абсолютно сырой продукт. Что я ещё скажу: учитывая, что этому продукту уже два года, ситуация вообще абсурдная. Ну серьёзно, за два года можно было бы допилить оптимизацию, исправить вылеты, довести физику до ума. Но нет — игра как была сырой, так и осталась. И мне лично кажется, что её выпустили в страшной спешке, просто чтобы закрыть финансовый год. Тестирования перед релизом не проводилось — потому что если бы они хоть раз поиграли в свою же игру на среднем или даже высоком ПК, они бы увидели эти вылеты, эти просадки FPS. Их невозможно было бы не заметить. И вот от этого ощущение, что игра застряла где-то в 2017 году и даже не пытается выглядеть современно. А ведь потенциал у TDU огромный, я помню, как кайфовал от первых частей. Но здесь его просто убили — небрежностью, жадностью и желанием поскорее выбросить продукт на полку, лишь бы деньги собрать. И ещё вот что: первые две Test Drive Unlimited были гораздо лучше и красивее. Да, первая TDU вышла в сентябре 2006 года — ей уже почти 20 лет. Вторая часть вышла в феврале 2011 года — ей 15 лет. И они игрались намного приятнее, чем вот это. Что это вообще такое? Скажите мне, ради бога, разработчики. Это просто разрыв шаблонов в антиутопии, блин! Игру просто невозможно хвалить. И по сравнению с Forza Horizon: Forza Horizon 6 вышла в 2026 году, то есть на два года позже TDU Solar Crown, но она выглядит и работает на голову выше. А если вспомнить Forza Horizon 4 (2018 год), которой уже почти 8 лет, так она и то визуально приятнее и оптимизирована лучше, чем этот «современный» проект. Получается, что TDU Solar Crown проигрывает по графике и оптимизации не только свежей Forza Horizon 6, но даже её восьмилетней предшественнице. Это просто провал. Повторюсь: на моём сетапе всё лагает. И самое интересное — при запуске игра сама выставила мне низкие настройки. Хотя когда вышла Forza Horizon 6, при входе в игру она автоматически поставила высокие настройки. А ваша поделка, просто шлак, выставила низкое качество. Я отключил вертикальную синхронизацию, выставил 165 FPS (под герцовку моего монитора) — тогда играть стало более-менее, но всё равно фризит. И физика, ребят, что с физикой? Вы вообще о чём? Это даже хуже, чем в первой TDU, хотя той уже 20 лет. Просто привет из прошлого, но в ухудшенном виде.)
