Amen...
honestly. It's a dissapointment from the tdu2 expectation but i enjoy it alot and i really want the dev to optimise the game lot more, sure theres lot of negative comment but when i play it ill say theres nothing bad except for the social stuff and optimization but it isnt that bad.I give it a 7/10

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

the game kicked me out like every 30 min i can,t have fun in the game when it crashed every 30 min.
Its crazy how not fun this game is, ive been waiting since launch to pick up a 5 dollar key, being aware that the game is pretty bad but its just not even worth it. Empty, very poor progression and in general feels like a chore to play.
NOTE: Treat this review as Informational instead of Positive, because us common review plebs don't have access to luxuries like that. Look. I really, really want to like this game. It's made on the foundation of two (19 and 15-year-old) games, one of which I've played to completion, and the other I've made some good progress in. And it's not like this game is horribly offensive to the legacy of the two previous games, but... well, let's address the elephant in the room first.
ELEPHANT LEVEL YAP UNDER SPOILER

This game was made by KT Racing, a subsidiary company of Nacon, unlike the two previous ones which were made by Eden Games, and were relatively successful across the world. The only problem was when they went completely offline (both? games later received unofficial online servers), and so it's understandable that players that own TDUSC are rather concerned that the game hasn't received (as of 13/08) a proper offline mode in case this game also - inevitably - goes under. What's worse, apparently around March, Nacon and its subsidiaries have filed for insolvency, resulting in mass layoffs later this year. This included KT Racing, which was probably hit the hardest of them all, being reduced to only 1/4 of their original size. What does this mean for the rest of us? Well, this is what I think happened and is going to happen:

TDUSC's Open Playtest released as a massively unoptimized mess (which really rubbed me the wrong way, since I was on a much less powerful GPU back then, and I struggled to even hit 30FPS)
TDUSC released and people absolutely clowned on the game, and rightfully so with all its original issues
The game didn't sell well on Steam (~200k avg reported owners), meaning there was little chance to recoup the development costs (in fairness, the $50 price tag does sting...)
Regardless of it, the game kept receiving updates, so some if not most issues were fixed, but some still remain to this day
Financial troubles came to light
Nacon filed for subsidiary insolvency
KT Racing got effectively axed
The community started to lose hope for the game (WE ARE HERE)
Nacon deepens its troubles in some way
KT Racing eventually gets shut down, and so does Nacon
With KT Racing shut down, TDUSC server access also gets disabled, with no true offline mode ever being finished or implemented into the game
And we get a repeat of what happened with TDU1 and TDU2, except this time with a lot more difficulty
...Meaning TDUSC eventually reaches the same fate as the other two games. "Same ♥♥♥♥, different day", as the saying goes.
So, what do I like about this game? Not much yet, considering I haven't played through its entirety (or, enough to unlock all the content anyway) at this point, but the handling model DOES kind of remind me of TDU1's Hardcore mode, which took a bit of getting used to, but eventually got the hang of again. Other than that, it... doesn't really stand out. Except hang on, this game has microtransactions?! On what planet do you WANT to make what basically amounts to nostalgia bait* a LIVE SERVICE game?! I mean, just look at The Crew 1 and compare it to 2 and Motorfest - Ubisoft (not to mention they should be defunded for their absolute BS against players and TC1) is doing the same mistakes! And at this rate, I think a joke starting with "if I had a nickel for every time..." would be rather appropriate here! [placeholder]As soon as I finish the main game, I will update the review with the remaining aspects people should probably know about![/placeholder] If you're considering getting this game, please get this on a discount or from somewhere else. This should have really cost $20 at most. I don't know how we got to the stage where $50-80-100 price tags have become the standard, but here we are.

Would I say it's Mid? Yes. Is it worth it for 9 bucks? Hell yes.
