Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Aug 29 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

A swarm of AI bots is tearing across the galaxy, assimilating everything in its path. As a maverick Tech jockey with nerves of steel, it's on you to clean up the carnage. Build something fast enough, mean enough or heavy enough to push back, then smash it all into scrap.
TerraTech Legion is a bullet heaven from Payload Studios, the team behind the original TerraTech. It takes the block-based vehicle building the series is known for and drops it into a roguelite full of swarms, bosses, and bad ideas worth trying.
With 200+ blocks across weapons, propulsion and utility, there’s no shortage of wild ideas that just might work. Wheels, boosters, buzzsaws, orbital lasers - snap them together however you like. Each of the four TerraTech Corporations brings its own set of blocks and abilities to the table, so your starting point shapes what you build and how you fight.
How it all comes together is up to you. Stack on the weapons and you're a rolling gun platform. Go heavy at the front and you're built to ram. Pile on the boosters and you're fast, fragile, and hard to catch. Where you put things matters - weight, balance, and whether you can actually steer it all come into play.
Jean Pierre hits hard and keeps on hitting - built for impact and impossible to slow down. Mikela plays the odds by stunning enemies and rerolling her luck until the rarest blocks fall her way. Sam phases through enemies and doubles down with critical hits. Cepheid drifts through the battlefield leaving a trail of plasma in her wake. Each character comes with their own starter build and playstyle - find the one that fits how you fight.
Four distinct planets, each crawling with bots, outposts and factories, all building to a brutal planetary boss. Upgrade your skills between missions to up your game and bring the fury on each new run.
How long can you last? Drop into an endless onslaught of Legion bots and bosses with no checkpoints, no campaign and no way out. Just you, your build, and your high score.

I love the RNG element that some are complaining about, keeps things fresh and makes you try to come by with weapons you maybe wouldn't normaly pick, some of which turned out to be better than I thought. A fun game to unwind for an hour or so after work, well worth the price, imo.
games fun for like the first few hours, but once you unlock all the planets it just becomes repetitive.

TerraTech Legion - an enjoyable blend of action roguelite gameplay and a vehicle-building sandbox with almost no creative limits. Instead of simply upgrading a character, you're constantly designing and improving your own combat machine, experimenting with different weapons, modules, and layouts to survive increasingly dangerous waves of enemies. The building system is what truly sets the game apart, offering a level of creativity rarely seen in the genre.
What’s Good:

Pleasing graphics and satisfying visual effects.
Fun and addictive gameplay that remains engaging throughout each run.
Unique and original gameplay mechanics that successfully combine vehicle building with an action roguelite experience.
Building your own combat vehicle is genuinely enjoyable and rewarding.
Almost unlimited creative freedom when designing your machine.
Well-balanced gameplay where most builds are viable.
Excellent QoL features that make RNG feel fair, including rerolls, easy reroll replenishment, and the ability to ban unwanted parts from the drop pool.
Good replayability thanks to different builds and vehicle designs.

What’s Not So Good:

The game completely lacks any story, lore, or meaningful world-building. It offers nothing but its core gameplay loop.
Not enough content overall.
Very small roster of playable characters.
Limited variety of unique blocks and weapons, with many simply feeling like slightly stronger versions of existing ones.
Only four maps, which quickly become repetitive.
Only two game modes, making the overall experience feel rather limited.
The Survival mode is particularly disappointing. It should be the ultimate endurance challenge, but instead feels unnecessarily slow and drawn out. Enemy density is actually lower than in the standard mode, character experience cannot be earned, and the time invested simply isn't justified by the rewards(because there are none).
Progression can actually make the game harder. Unlocking more parts increases the drop pool, making it more difficult to assemble the build you actually want.
Final Thoughts: TerraTech Legion stands out thanks to its unique gameplay, original mechanics, enjoyable vehicle building, near-limitless creative freedom, and thoughtful QoL features that keep RNG fair without removing the excitement of randomness. However, the game also has several noticeable shortcomings. Beyond its excellent gameplay, there is nothing else to experience. There is virtually no story, lore, or world-building to provide a greater sense of purpose, leaving the game feeling like a collection of gameplay systems without a meaningful setting. The combat itself is genuinely fun, but unfortunately the limited amount of content, maps, and game modes causes the experience to fall into a repetitive grinding loop much sooner than it should, without offering a compelling long-term goal. Despite these flaws, TerraTech Legion is still a good game that deserves attention. It may lack content, but the satisfying gameplay and impressive creative freedom when building your own combat machine make it an experience that's easy to enjoy and well worth trying.

A cool idea for a game in this genre, but I don't like it. Here is why. First, the game is balanced around you ramming through enemies, not favorite idea for this genre. Second, the idea of building onto my mech seemed enjoyable, but in practice it was not very fun. You spend almost as much time in building the parts your find onto the car than you do actually playing the wave swarm defense, which was what I was here for. I also didn't care for weapons that only shot in a single direction. In other games, when you can rotate almost instantly, these types of weapons are decent but people still prefer the auto aim weapons in general. Here in this game its worse as a lot of the weapon have cone damage that requires your car to face a certain direction, and it doesn't turn on a dime. Now I know that this isn't true of energy weapons that are omnidirectional, but a good portion of weapons are dead rolls for me as energy is the way to go because of that. So in conclusion, despite hearing that this is one of the greats of the genre, it just wasn't for me.
Awesome past time while listening to podcasts or whatever you like to do! Really enjoying it, very challenging!
I never want to stop playing, it’s unfair I have to go to work instead of playing this game
