The game itself is great but the app implementation has some awful issues. This version has crossplay, which is great, b/c this is not a short game asynchronously. Games typically take days to finish. This causes serious problems: - Want to continue your game on the Android version? I've never gotten notifications to work, so you have to pretty much guess, log in, and see if any of your opponents have taken their turn. - Want to see the scoreboard for the end of the game? Hope you took the last turn, b/c if you didn't, the game just ends and there's no saved scoreboard to see what happened if you didn't take the last turn. - Probably related to the last issue, your ongoing game list will be full of dead games that you can't delete. Still, the game was good enough that I endured it b/c the base game is that good. That is until the newest 2.8 update. What happened? - All pre-2.8 games can no longer played. Sorry if you had multiple games going on, but you can no longer access those games. They put an inexplicable lock on those games to make it clear you can't play them. I rolled back to 2.7 temporarily to keep playing, but they eventually forced an update on everyone and blocked access to those old games. Okay really annoying but let's try again.... 2.8.2 comes out, and we had started new games, now all my ongoing games are gone, I can't join any game. Why is this app so bad? I know they had new DLC to sell but it shouldn't have broken everything. Fix this app we paid good money before prioritizing DLC please. Absolutely cannot recommend with how terrible the quality control and bugs are. If you must play online, try Board Game Arena's implementation instead, it doesn't have these catatstrophic issues.
[h3] My favorite board game ported to Steam! [/h3] If you have ever played Terraforming Mars and enjoyed it, then this is for you. The ability to not only play online but also solo has caused my hours on this game to rise exponentially. Yes, the dlc is something you have to pay for, but the wonderful implementation and the genuinely amazing developer team is far worth the price. That, and this game just keeps getting more dlc ported! At the time of writing this, I have been playing the colonies beta thanks to the TM discord, and I am [i] beyond [/i] excited for it to release. By far is it my favorite TM expansion, and I cannot wait for the others + whatever's to come! There are bugs, yes, but after extensive solo play and dipping my feet into the online play, I haven't experienced enough to have my fun ruined. Plus, I do think the devs are genuinely trying to make this a true and wonderful port. Having talked to them, they seem hella busy, and I am more than willing to let them cook.
Twice when I get to the final round of online play the game crashes and wont let me "end turn". Cannot recommend you playing a board game that you cannot finnish.

Das Spiel hat sehr viele Probleme. Einige Karten funktionieren nicht (Zollstation!) und viele Online Spieler verlassen einfach das Spiel. Dann muss man weiterspielen, wenn man keine Karma Punkte verlieren möchte, die man aber braucht, um an einigen Online Spielen teilzunehmen. Diese Spieler sollten für eine bestimmte Zeit gebannt werden von dem Spiel oder irgendwann ganz rausgeschmissen werden, denn so macht das ganze keinen Spaß. Man kann kaum ein Spiel zuende spielen, wo keiner geht. Die Server sind sehr oft down, derzeit wieder seit mehreren Tagen (!) ohne Ankündigung. Die Entwickler könnten zumindest einen Kommentar/Bericht schreiben, ab wann die Server wieder online sind. Ich frage mich, woran das ständig liegt?! Zudem könnten noch die neueren Brettspielbretter eingefügt werden und die anderen Erweiterungen (Aufruhr). Ich empfehle es trotzdem, weil Terraforming Mars einfach Spaß macht! Das Layout und den Mechanismus bei BGA mag ich dagegen nicht. Da ist diese Version hier viel übersichtlicher. Sie müsste nur mal fehlerfrei laufen...
As many others have mentioned the game is completely broken with many obvious issues. There appears to be no testing between releases and patches. A real stain on what is actually a great board game.
