Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There is nothing wrong with the game per se, but it just didn't grip me. I was just finding myself being kinda bored with the game. I am sure it is enjoyable for a lot of people, I am just not one of them.

overly expensive, the designs are mediocre and uninspired. i couldn't get into the game and it's been rotting in my library for YEARS. as a pokemon fan... i can't recommend either pokemon or temtem. devs have to stop trying to create the new "monster catching" fad if they don't even enjoy the genre in the first place... (this is like the visual novel problem all over again, where devs try to "explore" the depths of the genre just for the sake of it)
Temtem est super fun, coloré et plein de charme. Le système de combat à deux est original, l’univers est vivant et l’aspect multijoueur apporte une vraie dimension communautaire. Un jeu parfait pour les fans de Pokémon et d’aventure !
I get what people mean when they say "it's not Pokemon". It's a fun creature collector/tamer game, but what sold it for me was the 2-player co-op story option. You can switch in and out of it. Just be aware, if you play the story with a friend and they haven't progressed as far, you'll redo the missions that they haven't completed yet while you're in a party. Online PvP feels a bit confusing at first if you're used to Pokemon, but there's a method to that as well.
I regret this purchase.
While the game is perfectly functional and the difficulty doesn't spike, I find it too hard. I just find the pokemon games better in most ways.
I can have strong stats and no matter what other tamers will over power you and out speed you even if they are 10-20 lvls lower than you, Your rival is broken and can beat him yes but he battles you when you least expect it and not ready and will lose cause of it. Atleast in pokemon they heal your team after a serious battle or if they know you will be going into a big quest.
Temtem is an enjoyable addition to the creature collecting genre. It has charm and quality not seen very often amongst it's contenders. While it's not without some minor flaws, I genuinely think this was a solid 8.5 out of 10.
I wanted to like this game. I really tried. I literally pushed through to 30 hours of play, as you can see, but it really was a push. It became most fun after I gave myself the self-imposed task of breeding a near-perfect Tem early on, otherwise I probably would have put it down around the 5 hour mark at most. I really like the style (not the characters), and the Tem genuinely look quite cool for the most part. There's a cohesion that Pokémon simply hasn't had for a long time and I find that really helps. This is one of the main things that made me want to try to find the positives in this game. However, it just really isn’t good. It has all the worst parts of an MMO but without any of the benefits, as the devs for whatever reason decided they didn’t want to actually make an MMO after launching it as one. What could be a steady progression through the story instead becomes an MMO grind. Weekly tasks which I usually can’t take part in, as things are often randomised and not covering Tem in my area or way outside my level. Money is hard to come by, I guess to keep the online economy balanced, but there’s barely an economy to speak of now, so it just ends up feeling restrictive for no reason. The game is also just weirdly punishing in places. The stamina system sounds interesting on paper but in practice it just slows battles down and makes them feel more like a chore than anything strategic. Same goes for the constant backtracking, especially before you unlock proper fast travel. You spend way too much time just running around doing nothing. Then there’s the lack of variety in the world. Routes feel repetitive, a lot of areas blend together, and the game really drags because of it. For something that leans so heavily on exploration, it doesn’t actually feel that exciting to explore. What really made me stop is the dialogue, it’s painfully bad. Conversations between NPCs feel like they’re written by someone who has never spoken to another human before. Everything is cringey and drawn out. You might just say, well don’t read it, skip it. And I did, I basically got past the second island without even knowing what’s going on. The characters are uninteresting and annoying at best. But there are so many side quests that require you to go back and forth between people, often needing to pick the correct dialogue out of two or three options. Meaning you have to get some context unless you want to keep restarting conversations to pick the correct answer at random. Just another chore. I don’t know if there’s an actual agenda to the game which has driven the dialogue down such a painful path, but some of it does feel forced to make a point that doesn’t really need to be made. Inclusivity is a good thing, but when you see so many LGBT couples that you start wondering how the population isn’t in a major decline, it does make you question things. I saw someone else name it Wokemon and for a while I couldn't see it. But the more dialogue I had to force myself through I started to agree.
