Je n'ai joué que 3 heures mais le jeu est ultra original Je recommande !
Tears of Metal is rad! It hits the sweet spot for the hack n' slash genre. Can wait to see where this game grows/goes. Hope they have The Black Douglas as a character in the future!

Ein Traum
It got repetitive for me fast. I didn't enjoy the boss fight either.

It's just plain and simple good fun. 58 hours in and finally beat it. Fun as a solo, more so with friends. Looking forward to diving right back in, highly recommend.

Very good game
très bien.
So this game is really good and great fun for the current price. I’m mostly writing this review for selfish reasons, since I really want more people to buy this, so the devs keep those updates coming for a long time. For someone who grew us playing the Dynasty Warrior series and the like, this game was a really great find. The game isn’t exactly like those games but it gives the feel of those powerful dudes and dudettes swathing masses of enemies and watching them get thrown around. So regarding this game, I am very biased because I like roguelites and these kinds of action games. First the bad parts in my opinion. - The game seems to have some desync problems. I mostly played with friends and couple games with randoms. With my friends, we had 2-3 random disconnects in 50 hours of gameplay. When I played with randoms, people just kept disappearing every now and then, but I’m not entirely sure if these were random crashes or if they just decided to leave on their own. - There are some bugs, but nothing truly game breaking. The worst for us have been random enemies going invisible to others except the host. Bosses spawning high from the ground so they can’t be targeted by players, also on client side on my experience, and then some minor visual bugs etc. - The game doesn’t have a save feature mid run yet, so you have to complete the run in one go. But luckily the good guys the devs are, they are already working on a save feature. - Maybe some more, I'll update this when I can think of something. Then the good parts. - The Emblem system (think Hades progress with the gods mid run if you played that). With my friends we have had a blast trying to combine our builds, since all of the Emblems can be used to sort of combine with other players. If whole team uses the poison build, everyone gets use of that. There are also combined emblems with others so you can get more powerful variations. Okay this maybe wasn’t a pro in regards of the actual positives, but I just wanted to mention it since I think it’s great. - There are currently 3 playable characters (out of 5) and they all are very distinct of each other. They all have 4 weapons to unlock and they change the play style quite a lot, so there is great variety already. - You get to build your own tiny army! When you go to the fields to free Scotland, you can take few companions with you that give boons and are pretty tough. You also get to have 3-12 commanders with their own man-at-arms with you, and this is the other cool part! Unfortunately, the more players there are, the less companions and commanders you can take with you. The commanders can be upgraded to boost their stats and the amount of man-at-arms they have at their disposal and they also give you Emblem boosts and small passives, so you can build your strategy already from the army selection screen. You also have three different attack commands for your army and their damage scales with the amount of specific commanders you have of specific weapon type; archers, infantry and spearman. - The combat is quite good. The combat revolves around light attacks, heavy attacks, blocks (and parries) and dodges. Every weapon has 4 different combos that require you to use some of the aforementioned skills. Before buying this game, I read some negative reviews of this game and I remember someone saying the combat is boring with just button mashing. This is absolutely not the case. Some of the combos are faster, some deal more armor/shield damage, some have longer reach and others have larger damage areas than others. The higher you climb the Trials (the ascension system in many other games that makes the game progressively more difficult), are pretty brutal so you need to use your combos efficiently. One important thing about the combos is, that you really need to use – and finish – your combos and not press random buttons, since the combos do a lot more damage when the final attack of the combo lands. -The meta progress is in my opinion well paced. You get different materials to build your base from different acts, which there are 3. You get random gear for your heroes at an interval that doesn’t seem to long for me. Unless you are playing with people that have less upgrades and items than you, then those items and upgrades take priority. Not really an issue for me. - The maps get bigger and the enemies more numerous the further you get. The act 3 has absolutely ridiculous amount of enemies in some areas, which is really fun when you have some AoE attacks or can just dash through them all. - The side objectuves are meaningful. If there spawned a reinforcement wagon, you better go destry it before you are swarmed. Archer tower? Yeah better destroy it since they will keep shooting arrows at you. - A shout out to the music, especially the act 3 boss music! Then some neutral things and suggestions maybe? - In the game map, you need to plan a route with your buddies. There is no way to inform your friends what route you would like to take. You can only tag those ares adjacent to you. Slay the Spire 2 has some drawing features in map, that would be great here too. - The game has quite a lot of loot in maps, some are static and some drop for you when you complete objectives. The static loot and resources are up for grabs to the person that gets there first and these contain coins that you use to buy charms, which are the games random items mid run and also chests that you open up with said coins. Only one person can open these up. The current characters have a very different movement speeds, which is great by the way. But the slowest character is so slow, that it’s difficult to get these chests and coins before someone else grabs them. I think it would be good to have maybe fewer chests, but everyone gets to open them or something like that. -The emblem system. This was also in the positive section, but alas I want to address some parts here. The Emblems aren’t huge game changers. For my knowledge, the Emblems don’t actually synergise with each other. Meaning, that if you take the poison one and then the “chain lighting” one, you won’t actually get the poison ticks on these chain lightning effects. You need to pray for the RNG gods to give you the twin Emblem that let’s you do this. I think all the Emblems are pretty well balanced, as every character has need for different emblems that also depends on the weapon they are using. The powers on these emblems aren’t mind blowing by any means, but there would be some some more really awesome variants with the Emblems, but for now I am still content with these we have and have yet to unlock half of the combos. - The act bosses are pretty boring to be honest. The last boss is somewhat fun, but there aren’t too many times I get there. The act 1 boss is really boring, but then again it is the act 1 boss so it can’t be too hard. The act 2 boss is more annoying, because it runs away for a long periods of time. The act 3 boss is the most interesting one, but also not that special. Still the most fun though.
