Very fun rougelike with what feels like a unique concept. Also amazing in multiplayer, always looking for a good co op rougelike
At it's current state it is a fun co-op game that reminds me of the best parts of Dynasty Warriors w/ a bit of rogue-lite. The in-game economy still needs to be fleshed out as spending coin to revive is kinda *why* and a couple of other minor annoyances, like charm descriptions sometimes not being clear, and the camera killing me more times than the enemies. Other than that, pleasantly surprised.

Terrific time wasting game, great controls and feel. Amazing art style, must have if you enjoy rogue like or fighting games.
Love this game, super fun, and I see areas where they plan on expanding. ITs a fun way to spend an hour or two and wind down after work.
好玩是我喜欢的风格,真的很棒期待后续更新
Currently cannot recommend the game if trying to play co-op. The desync makes it completely unplayable. Everyone runs in place, I can do damage, then when it resyncs everyone gets their health back and everything i just did was a waste of time. Fun game, fun concept. Fix the desync.
absolute blast! amazing potential to develop and grow the game into something truly special. art style and combat is top notch. there are of course some things to improve - balance, chest rewards, overall progression and importance of player choice, etc. but overall game is good - especially for early access - and has great great great potential
Tears of Metal is fantastic. I love the setting, the artstyle, and the brutal combat. I also think the map design is inspired, and having (some) unlocked levels grant bonuses as you progress is super interesting. But, since the game is still in Early Access, I have some constructive feedback that I want to raise too. :) As an (admittedly) terrible player, I end up seeing the first area over and over again. When I get to the first boss, I can usually beat him, but then I'm instantly killed in the first level of the next area. I don't believe this is a problem with difficulty; rather, my complaint is with progression. Instead of chaining areas together, forcing players to trudge through areas they've already beaten before they can practice on the new enemy types, I think it would be better if players can *choose* their starting area. Once a player is confident that they can beat the first area, they can just move to the second area instead. This would require a serious rebalancing of the progression system, but I think it would make for a better experience overall. And that's it! Thank you for a great game, Paper Cult!
FREEEDOOOOOOM !
