Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Eu passei a amar Tales of Zestiria do primeiro momento até o final. Com toda certeza vou rejogar daqui uns anos.
My first game in the Tales series. It has a beautiful story and a sad ending. I hope that the other games in the series will be as this one.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

2024 Still has the best soundtrack of the entire "Tales Of" series.
i have mixed feelings about zestiria. a decade later i finally decided to play it, and while i don't think it's the biggest pile of garbage some people depict it to be, the game can be very easy described as "average and toothless" the first big issue is the areas. instead of going for more impact but smaller locations, every place was made to fit transitions into battles in real time/locations. and the result? locations suck. there's nothing going on in huge zones purely made to accomodate a handful of enemies at a time. but being from 2015 and so an era where "immersion" was a thing that was being expanded in gaming, this is not really surprising. unfortunately, most of it is a wash, because they sacrificed what made most tales of games interesting in the first place (smaller more constrained world that left more to your imagination by making what you could explore memorable) by going for this approach. on top of that, it does not help that the game does not stop throwing tutorials your way. even several hours in, you will regularly get tutorials. and not even interesting ones for new, unlocked systems but basic stuff like "hey did you know you have a map?" because they forgot about it and decided that shoving a monolith with a basic tutorial 6 hours in was a good idea. the game never ever trusts you. and the cherry on top of this not-so-great sundae is the combat. it's not very good! there's tons of systems in the game but none of them feel like they matter. even on normal, which could get tricky in other tales of games, this one just kinda lets you cruise control through everything. why should you bother to learn about how to properly use anything if there's very little punishment for not interacting with any system properly (SC, artes, armatizes, equipment fusion, skills and so on) at all? there is more to talk about but i don't really feel like it. i don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to play this game or considering picking it up, but for most it's a safe skip and for the rest this is a 'on sale' game. there are better games, especially in the tales of series, widely available that are more worth your time.
I could write a novel on the things I don't like about this game but unlike Tales of Zestiria, I value your time. This is only a Tales of game in name. Don't waste your time. You can't get it back. Don't waste your money. You won't be able to refund by the time you realize what a crock of ♥♥♥♥ this is.
Not the best game in the Franchise, and horribly flawed by a poor producer on a power trip, Zestiria is a game with a mixed reputation for a reason. You spend most of your time fighting the camera, 30fps without the fix lowers your enjoyment by miles, the new fusion system is cool but someone also feels like it really limits you at the same time. There is plenty to dislike here for anyone looking for a good Tales game. All that said, there is something that made me keep coming back to this game and it's the characters. Not all the characters are good (Rose), but Sorey and Zaveid made for a great time. Not to mention Mikleo who is the best girl of the game by a country mile. It's hard to recommend Zestiria when there are better Tales games out there (every one on steam is objectively better) but if you're looking for an okay time, download the fix and have a good time. 7/10

There are significantly better rpgs to spend your money on, including other tales games. Tales of Zestiria has a few interesting ideas, but they're all drowned out by a sludge of "meh." A painfully generic and half-baked story, very questionable character writing, and a baffling equipment system, are just a few of the things you'll find in this seemingly rushed game. Despite how harsh I sound, it's not as if ToZ is the worst game I've ever played. The game is just a very mid experience. It doesn't reach any great heights, nor is it an explosion of garbage. It just kind of exists, sitting quietly in the corner, and doesn't achieve anything noteworthy. If you are still interested in playing it, I would definitely recommend waiting for a sale. It is simply not worth the full asking price, especially with so many other great rpgs on the market.
