For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Loved it
Tales of Vesperia is probably one of the most recommended games in the Tales series. And you can easily see why when you play it. From a graphical point of view, it still looks decent. Only the animations feel a bit clunky during dialogue scenes, and the effects may not be as flashy. But aside from that, it's a really great JRPG. The story might be on the simpler side, but I like it. A lot of (J)RPGs nowadays try to tell smart and complex stories, but fail and end up leaving the player confused. But not in Vesperia—it's a great adventure from start to finish, where I never felt bored or lost. The character cast is also very likable. Yuri is the GOAT and a true hero. Not to spoil anything, but simply put—he does what needs to be done. Estelle and Rita → so many “te-te” moments. Karol surprised me the most and has some great development. Judith is fun to have around, but she falls a bit flat at a certain point. Raven—that weird guy who suddenly gets a plot twist. Patty is the weakest member of the group and feels somewhat irrelevant. Repede—okay, he’s just a dog, and I really hoped he’d be able to speak—but still, he’s a good boy :) The gameplay/battle system is also a strong point of Vesperia. It’s not overloaded and is kept fairly simple, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t challenging. I think Vesperia also offers some of the best options in the series for setting up your party’s AI. The only thing the game should teach better is the guard cancel trick, which makes battles much more enjoyable and fluid. Honestly, I wish every Tales game had some kind of practice mode (accessible from the title menu), so you could really learn and test things. All in all, Tales of Vesperia is one of the strongest entries in the series and highly recommended. Would it be a great first Tales game? Definitely with one small caveat: you might end up a bit spoiled and have expectations that are too high for the other games in the series. Rating 8/10
I know that Tales is a famous series but still I don’t like Vesperia's combat system. It feels clunky and unresponsive. I understand that it has its depth but I’m not excited to learn it at all. Combat relies on manual cancel mechanics that was maybe innovative and interesting years ago but looks completely off nowadays.
great game
classic tales game formula, I played tales of symphonia as a kid and distinctly remember loving it. This game so far is reminding me of it but the control scheme is certainly a little confusing and not quite intuitive in my opinion.
The games alright, but the combat SUCKS! Try to start the encounter, your attack somehow go through the enemy (not intended). You hit, it is a 1/3 to stun them for advatage. Combat starts, you hit the enemy on the ground l, they have invincibility frames, you use your over limit, the enemy is on thier ass. The list goes on. Recommended a sale and playing on a lower difficulty.
