About
Seikyu is a quiet island sanctuary, hidden far from the noise of the human world. Here, yokai spirits live in harmony with nature and the turning seasons.
You and your sister begin your new lives in an old farmhouse - a place filled with memories, and room to begin anew. There's always something to tend, someone to chat with, or a quiet corner you haven't discovered yet.
Seikyu isn't a place you rush through. It's a place you can return to.

Your days follow a rhythm you create. Tend the farm, wander into town, or follow a path you haven't explored before. Some days you'll harvest. Some days you'll decorate. Some days you'll stumble across something you weren't expecting.
Expand your fields at your own pace, grow seasonal crops, and raise chickens, cows, sheep, and capybaras. Craft furniture and gradually create a space that feels like home.

The people of Seikyu have their own lives, routines, and quiet worries. Torleone, the thoughtful otter fisherman. Sasaki, the well-meaning carpenter who's always in the middle of a project. Nyotengu, the watchful guardian of the island skies.
Spend time with them and you'll start to notice the small changes - new dialogue, shared traditions, and story moments that unfold naturally over time. Their stories are interwoven, and yours will become part of that tapestry.

As a descendant of the Fox Clan, you carry the gift of shapeshifting. Transform to experience the island in new ways - charge through fields as a boar, soar on the wind as a tengu, or slip beneath the waves as a water spirit. Each form opens new corners of Seikyu: hidden ruins, distant hilltops, and sunken treasures.

Cherry blossoms give way to summer heat. Autumn leaves fall. Snow settles on the rooftops. Seikyu lives and breathes through every season, shaping the crops you grow, the festivals you attend, and the pace of life around you.

Such a beautiful game.
I was going to wait to review this game until I've completed the game but im a little impatient (ᵕ⸝⸝• ᴗ •) this game ive heard mixed reviews of, how it sucks, barely has anything, but I think it's cause its a slow-paced game and that they're getting bored of it fast due to it. Also, the game is still fairly new. yes there was early access, but it had just got into 1.0 recently ! we have 1.1 now, but we can't forget that it's still in its beginning of release. its going to have its ups and downs. i have high hopes for this game ! I enjoy this game a lot, and have put a lot of hours into the game, I've been really liking this game. each character is unique in their own way, and ive been very interested in each and every one of the characters stories, and what yokai they are ! ive been shocked by a few (especially yui's yokai reveal). this game also heavily reminds me of rune factory, specifically guards of azuma with its style and rune factory is another really really huge favorite of mine that i've always loved so finding other games that have a similar feeling to rune factory when playing really makes me more excited and have that joy in playing them. also it has some mechanics and stuff i wish that were in rune factory guardians of azuma, but wasnt. for example, the bundles, ive always loved playing farming sims that had bundles where you had to get specific items, get a specific amount and donate them to that bundle, i think having to put work into getting the specific thing motivated me more into playing. Another thing i love is that this has been the first game in the farming sim genre where i am able to turn into a different creature/monster or animal. i can be a boar, to a slime and so on ! also the yuki-onna form was super cute, and pretty, and in my current playthrough i did give yuki her form back but imo.. i really like being that cute little floating thing it looks adorable so im not really upset about not being the beautiful woman form. The only things i wish were in the game were to be able to have higher levels for your skills, (maximum for cooking, combat, exploration etc being lvl 10 i think), kids (which were said to be added later !), and voice acting. though i dont mind that there isnt voice acting, they did already say that it was going to be dialogue only, at least from what i remember ! also the dating choices are SO nice like omg... you can choose to date a vampire, a mother, a older guy (im talking gray/white hair and all), a otter guy, bird woman, and so on... there are so many crazy dating options out there. also another thing it may just be a me thing, but rune factory had a habit of making BEAUTIFUL older sisters or mothers for the romanceable characters in the games but not making THEM romanceable and it kinda upset me.. like wdym i couldnt date lin fa in rf4? or misasagi and elsje in rf5? but luckily in tales of seikyu i can date a mother if wanted too ! and her character is good too i like how they portrayed her and her design. i wouldnt say shes my favorite favorite but i do enjoy the thought that wow this is actually... an option? also off track but i find kon and seaberts relationship dynamic so cute like im always in awe wheni see them interacting ugfhfhhh also it took me like so long (40-50+ hours) to get tothe character whos my favorite, uwabami... but it was worth it. (im also just slow)

I have been enjoying this one. It feels like a complete game and so far I've only experienced a single bug in the game requiring a restart. The world lore is a big draw here. The characters are well written, and as they update the game more interactions there would be appreciated. Some critiques. Combat is mediocre, but in this genre that's fine. The game has a few pacing issues, like requiring a heavy investment into animal products without needing any investment there prior triggering quite a grind. The game is too stingy with house decorations, leading your home looking barren if you don't actively seek them out from the one shop that has them. A weapon in the casino null-in-voids the entire weapon crafting system for the majority of the game and trivializes the combat system further. Overall. This isn't as good as the My Time series, and I would buy the bundle with Sandrock and play that game first. If you love that series, it is a good hold over as we wait for the next installment there. It's a solid 8/10 game.
tenia fe en poder rembolsarlo para acabar el lore pero solo logre acabar el lore

MUITO bom!
i got the game back in early access or i guess beta unsure i didnt think i would like it near as much as i do but its an amazing game if you want a relaxing story
I'm having a ton of fun with this game. It's a very standard farm/life sim, but the yokai mechanics give it a bit of extra spice that I really like. I will say I'd hoped for more depth to the NPCs and dialogue, and some areas of the environments can feel a bit empty. I know it just came out in the full version so I hope they'll keep adding more in the future!
Japanese folklore and mythology are some of my favorite things in life, so naturally this game caught my attention immediately. A fantasy farming/life sim set on an island inhabited by yōkai. I got the game when it first entered Early Access, and I really wanted to love it. I should also be fair and say right away that I did not give it a big amount of time. But there was a reason for that. First, the good: the art direction is beyond gorgeous. The character illustrations are beautiful, the designs are unique, the whole Japanese fantasy atmosphere is wonderful, and I loved seeing all those little ideas inspired by folklore and yōkai. Even the concept of your character being able to take different spirit forms is creative and gives the game its own identity. Visually, in terms of actual graphics, I think it looks fine. But the art is where this game really shines for me. Some of the characters look like they stepped out of a beautiful Japanese fantasy storybook. And yet… When I actually started walking around, talking to people and playing, I strangely felt that the world was lifeless. I know that sounds odd considering how beautiful everything looks, but that was my feeling. I liked the NPC designs. I liked how unique everyone looked. But the way conversations were presented, the plain text boxes, the amount of text and the general flow of those early interactions just didn’t pull me in. Something about the presentation felt flat to me, and I never got that feeling of being completely absorbed into the world. And games are funny like that. Sometimes a game hooks you almost immediately, and sometimes everything on paper says “you should love this”… but you just don’t feel it. That is what happened to me here. But I also think first impressions matter, and mine was unfortunately that such a gorgeous concept felt strangely lacking in life once I was actually inside it. Still, I want to give it another chance. Maybe this time it will finally click.
could do with some polishing still good.
