Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This is one of the best Japanese tactics games there is. Well worth every cent paid for it and every recreational second poured into it.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.22/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

为PSP时代补的票。 系统完整,非常耐玩。 但现在回头看刷子时间是有点多了 真希望最终幻想战略版也能有续作或者重制啊
Had 2k hrs in TO:LUTC on the PSP and had 1k+ on TOR for the NSW. Decided to grab this one when it was on sale in preparation of FFT:TIC's release, and despite telling myself not to aim for 100% on this one, I ended up going ham on it, again, delaying my FFT:TIC playthrough... and I'm still not even close to being satisfied currently. The grind for The Magnificent Twelve begins once more. Still a nearly flawless masterpiece just as I remember it; FFT and TO will most likely remain my #1 and #2 games of all time until my death or the end of the universe, whichever comes first. I know TOR has some conflicting reviews and opinions; the level cap, the RNG of the buff cards, the removal of some the "deeper" system aspects of the old versions, but I still firmly believe this version is THE definitive edition to play. As aware as I am that folk love to go all out on the grind, and completely break open games such as these, the level cap, even if artificially, actually put in some level of challenge that I found myself longing for many a years. There was even one battle on my NSW playthrough, I believe it was the siege at Brigantys or possibly Coritanae Keep... I hadn't reset a battle or a stage in an JRPG/SRPG/TRPG in nearly two decades, including physically demanding games such as the recent FFVII:Rebirth, barring postgame content. That alone deserves worthy praise, personally. The removal of Rogue, the TP removal and being dumbed down... I don't really mind it at all. Small nitpicks in the grand schemes of things, all around. I only hope FFT:TIC will leave me satisfied as much as TOR did for me when I played it on release on the NSW. Glory to TRPGs, SRPGs, and I still hold my faith that the golden era of Square will shine upon us once again in the future. I pray TOR and FFT:TIC have sold well enough for them to open their eyes towards this path once more. God knows other big name franchises like Fire Emblem have long walked the path of full on degeneracy, catering to their audience of weeaboos. We could use some more seriously toned games such as FFT and TO; perhaps sequels, dare I say.
The gameplay and UI is confusing. I cannot tell easily which one is my enemy, and I don't know why my mage has an archer ability and no magic skills. I don't know what ability can pierce through units and what abilities has Line of sight check. The maps are also insanely huge and bland. The story, is really bad, everything is too sudden. I can't remember 10 different characters in 10 seconds and they don't even have any backstories whatsoever, one time you met a normal dude, but he talks a lot and his backlore don't matter, the other time you met a duke and he immediately trusts you as a special army. the 10 characters introduced a few minutes ago immediately not so special anymore, and then they introduce you new characters. It's too boring and too hard to keep up. Not even the protagonists are interesting enough to follow. Though if you look-up who made the story of this game, you will immediately know why it's bad, if you play final fantasy 14 Stormblood.
one of the best games ever made, i prefered the snes version but this one has so much more content, I love this franchise
10多年前第一次玩台式电脑游戏就是GBA系列!童年的回忆:皇家骑士团!神作复刻!以前很耐玩的游戏!
Great! 10/10
The legendary 1995 masterpiece from the same writer who later designed the Final Fantasy Tactics series. Similar to the first Final Fantasy Tactics in 1997, Tactics Ogre provides a gritty story of political intrigue on a war-torn continent. With regard to the negative reviews for this remastered version: Ignore the haters. The card mechanic doesn't stain the game's polish in the least. If anything, the stacking power accelerates combat in a healthy fashion. The level cap actually makes the game interesting compared to other titles where you can just out-level bosses to win. Success requires strategic planning and frequent use of consumables, which is a rare but welcome circumstance. The difficulty feels appropriate, not too hard. The design of characters, classes, and maps is not as vibrant or inventive as in Final Fantasy Tactics, but solid nevertheless.
