Great banter between the player characters
This game is fun... and weird! It is a series of room breaches by a small squad of wizards. The backstory has you trying to solve a mystery where you can only get more clues by breaching rooms and taking down the badguys. It is charming, well-priced, and created by an indie developer.
Dialogue is cringe but the level design, creativity and overall vibe is great. If you love other tactical games you will surely love this, no RNG involved.

Fun game, great writing. Excited for anything they might make
The dialogue is stupid funny but in the way that's actually funny and not edgy. It's more of a linear game than I was expecting (which was something more akin to XCOM) but it's still really fun and the strategy involved makes each level similar to a puzzle than just a pure strategy game (though you can play it for pure strategy if you don't want to complete bonus objectives for cosmetics).

played on steam deck ,well optimized. It is such a unique puzzle experience
Best game I have played in years. Very cohesive design, the best story in any tRPG I have played, actually funny dialogue and pacing that keeps it engaging start to finish. It feels, on top of all of that, original and fresh. It is a warcrime that this is pc-exclusive. Gamepad controls are excellent. This is a rare, handcrafted approach to tactical rpg. Every level is it's own puzzle. You can resolve it any way you want, and optionally go for purely optional challenges that act as the difficulty modifier. The mechanics are great, you get new powers at a steady pace and challenge remains at a consistent level. There is optional content to let you play with your chosen builds as well. And the story is lovely. Characters are all a fantastic mix of interesting, complex and likeable.
I'm replaying this after I finished it when it first came out, and I can't help but gush about just how ingeniously this whole game is packaged together. Low barrier of entry, yet the skill ceiling is incredibly high. The story is simple, but so well-executed with dialogue that is full of wit and charisma. Every single character, from the main cast to NPCs and enemies, is likable and memorable. What an absolute perfect feat of a video game. I seriously hope that some sort of sequel is in development.
gameplay is excellent setting is fun and creative story is engaging characters have depth dialog is a good balance of humorous and serious i love it!
