A delightfully immersive sci-fi dungeon crawl with one of the most entertaining villans in gaming. It's both sonically and visually impressive, which makes it a pleasure to become immersed in its world. SHODAN is simply excellent, the voice acting and modulation effects are fun to listen to and really sell the character and her distain for you; an insect. Highly recommended for fans of sci-fi, or the immersive sim genre. Some tips; take notes and take your time! This is an old school game with very little hand-holding. Voice logs can help you understand what you should be doing, if they mention codes pay attention!

Good Game. The first half is phenomenal but it gets really tedious in the last third. Mainly because of the old design philosopy. But still great experience! The game doesnt always tell you where to go. You really have to read the notes you find throughout the game.
Outstanding remake! Nightdive should be incredibly proud of what they created here. Shodan said it best: "They did not create a program, they summoned a God." Joking aside, this has to be the best remake I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The level of immersion is incredible! From exploring the ship to the sound design and the music. Bravo Nightdive!
I loved System Shock 2 and all the Bioshocks. I do not like this at all. It's boring, frustrating, clunky and just not very fun. I haven't nothing more to say on it really. A tedious experience. A shame, as the Worldbuilding is great.
A fantastic way to introduce a classic to a new generation. Who knew old school gameplay sensibilities would be so refreshing today.
Ace
System Shock is an awesome game, and its refreshing to play a game that doesnt hold your hand. This game has an awesome setting and atmosphere, and a really cool plotline. Feels "futuristic" but with a slight retro look, I really like this games artistic design, the faux-retro look. I had fun playing this game. I like the puzzles, I like the shooting (tho its not the best FPS in the world!), and I really liked the "story". I feel like we should heed the cautionary tale of this game as humans ha. It sort of has a similar vibe to Deus Ex a bit. If you liked that game, I feel like you would like this one as well.
What a killer remake of a PC classic! Runs flawlessly with max settings in 1440p at locked 180fps and looks awesome!
