Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

If you like the original or sc-fi 90s horror then youll love this game++
Good Remake but there were some downsides to it: 1) I hated to navigate through each of the levels of the space station because of the horrendous minimap with its overlapping layers. The all so present backtracking had you running around searching for things you missed and this oldschool map- and game design frustrated me a lot. 2) No actual tracking of your objective. I mean it's cool to not get handholded all the time, but this is a bit too much. Especially in combination with the mazelike structure of the whole game. I get that they basically tried to leave most of the features from the old game in there, but for a remake i think you can add maybe some QOL-Features for Players not familiar with games of that kind and age.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Where to begin? Wish Steam has a middle ground option. They did a good job restoring/remaking a game this old. But they are so fixated on keeping some things that it became a fault. Some consider it a *feature* of course. It is a matter of taste after all. - Audio mixing is terrible. Music is so low you cannot hear it. Incoming message sounds are low you cannot hear it. I don't know what kind of setting they have used on this Unreal Engine of a game... but it is still broken. I've used "Music Fix and Revamp" mod by "Vikxen" and it fixed the music side at least. - I *hate* random number generators inside games. And this one using a lot. Just keep in mind to write the numbers after you destroy a *node*. It will save a lot of your time. - Difficulty is... all over the place? Maybe thats me. Also I deliberately set Cyberspace to 1 but it still felt hard especially later stages. But that last boss fight? It was buggy. Enemy fly to sky and stuck there... even one of them spawn much later, that nearly force me to reload an autosave that was start of the last battle... Luckily it spawn after some *minutes*. (And yes, original game has different battle with different pain in the...) - That Diego fight... pure cheating. I somehow manage to beat it without cheating but it was a nightmare... I did used *cheats* at some places of the game though. - I got lost several times. On story progression side... - aesthetic choice of textures... They could use a bit more normal texure instead of blocky style but it was popular at the time. - They changed engine while making this game (Was Unity, then Unreal) and maybe because of that, game really does feel like it isn't the usual quality of Nightdive Studios. - Using berserk stim cause you to see old sprites a nice touch. I like it. - Too much bloom and postprocessing effects. Everything just keep tiring my eyes. Even if you set everything low it still feels off... With prices are going crazy right now, and it has a discount at the moment. I'm guessing this is as much lower as it can get. Buy it cheap but be warned, this game is definitely not for everyone. Even in it's remake state.
Get a guide, there are times of frustration when you wonder where am i supposed to go. Except for that the game is abit slow passed, this is not doom or somehting like that, it is slow paced, think and plan ahead. Now there is backtracking between floors where you need to go back to do this and that. I am not going to write a novel here, it is a good game it brings something new and fresh and it is worth your time. 7,5/10 some annoyances for me but overall it is an Sam altman / A.I nightmare fuel, the dreams of 2026 and the future that might await you? well this game will let you take a peek into it.
Plan to play it on Crossover with an Intel Mac from 2015 xD
Overall a solid experience, NightDive are one of the few studios I would trust with a remaster. It did have some serious performance issues at times, and there were some absolutely frustrating moments towards the endgame with bugs (had to kill a certain boss 3 times before it actually let me proceed). But overall you can tell the love and care NightDive put into this. A solid old school 90s game converted into a modern experience. Love it!
it good
I can see how this isn't for everyone, but it's 100% for me. Never played the original System Shock, but don't let that turn you away. Extremely rich environment that rewards exploration, incredible setting, runs maxed out without DLSS on a 5k2k ultrawide monitor extremely well.
Gra niesamowicie wciągająca.
Its good. there is some bad but its one of those games I'd like to play for the first time again. Con, for most of you: it thinks you might actually be smart. If that's a problem, read a guide.
