Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you're looking for a hardcore immersive sim this is it. All the negative reviews saying it's nostalgia are just people who are bad at the game. I randomly stumbled upon this game and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. The ending was a bit of a slog but getting there was such a treasure. Do yourself a favor and look up a guide on how to build your character but then do the rest blind. ....nah ;)

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Perfect game if you LOVE memorizing walkthroughs. On the original version, you could turn off puzzles and time limits and just kind of explore and find your way around, and then add puzzles and such as you get familiar with the game and what you are supposed to do. But in the remake, even on Easy difficulty, it feels impossible to accomplish anything without multiple save points and memorizing walkthroughs. It took about ten tries to hack my first security system, then I am told to go into a room with chemicals and not to pick all of them up now, but I will be told which ones I need for what tasks. And I have one minute to figure out what chemicals are needed for what and do it all. This is not a game where you can just go in and explore and figure stuff out on your own. You need to have save points every five minutes and consult walkthrough guides every step of the way in order to get anywhere, even on Easy level of difficulty.
FIRST HALF? AMAZING, SO MUCH FUN! I LOVED IT SECOND HALF? I hope a donkey kicked devs in their nut sack :)
Playing the remake of the first game and following up with this was probably my mistake. The ship feels smaller, and I noticed only traveling to a deck once or twice. Your codes are not run specific either, I thought that was a bummer. With more rpg elements, you have skill trees now. basically everything requires a skill check: using weapons, hacking, wearing armor. I thought this was a bummer, because the weapon pool is already so small now you are required to dump stats just to be able to expand your arsenal. If you want to maintain your weapons, that's another stat check. Did your weapon break and now you have to repair it? that's a separate stat check. I did not play a psionics run so I have no idea how the powers feel. Reaching the finale of the game was weird, the story felt like there was more to it and then you're abruptly in the final boss fight. I don't find myself satisfied with this ending SHODAN. Overall it's a good game from its era, but didn't hit as hard as the first for me.
I could write a lengty review on this game, where I go into the nitty-gritty on changes made, changes that should have been made, and changes that should not have been made, but .... Nah This is the definite edition of this game. Its good.
Игруха крутая, но в конце разраб насрал паркуром и бессмертными врагами стоящими в проходах.
Excellent remaster of a classic. Non-intrusive, the only things that were added or changed were minor QOL alterations that make sense, or rebalancing certain features that were formerly useless. Don't like it anyway? You can easily disable it with the in-game mod menu as the new content is included as external files. The definitive way to play one of the most influential video games ever made for modern systems.
Looks smooth, feels unforgiving.
this is for fan boys only. its silly, incoherent and a significant downgrade from 1 which is just bazar. its frustrating hallway chores ad if you don't retain information well i can imagine you going insane. thigs will be said 1 time in context and if you miss something. right to the walkthroughs. bummer.
