Very good. It is not common to play a video game that gives you a fresh perspective on the world, but I feel like this game gave me insight into the trade-offs of different systems of governance, the difficulties of knowing what will actually be best for a country in the long term, and the uncertainties some countries might face in their geopolitical positions. Probably the most stressed I have been playing a video game, but it was still exciting and enjoyable to play through. I only wish they explained that the money you have is not some yearly budget that will refresh, but a hard limit. I spent too freely too early. But even that was fun in its own way, because it made every choice after even more difficult, trying to avoid going too far into debt while still executing my vision.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

10/10 especially with the DLC, i'd recommend it to anyone who likes reading and exploring intricacies of statecraft and resource management, of course there are extremely unhinged moments but what is reality if not unhinged? and lastly, wiktor is a funny guy
this game so good, i played it 20 hours a day and it is very very cool
good
I like this game but it has it's issues so I would give it "Mixed" if I could. I was so involved in Sordlands affairs, even in my dreams I thought about how to better my country and what decisions should I make, etc.. The game has a good question. What if you are the leader of a fictional country? What would you do, what could you do? How would it go? And the execution is pretty good as well. The art and music is really good for sure. Simple and good. The characters are good and all seem to have their own personalities and some even thier goals and agendas. At least the game can create this illusion which is good. The story is intriguing, captivating and the writing is good overall but there are some inconsistencies. Some options feel misleading or simply do not do what you expect them to do. Some things are not detailed or explained well enough. For example there is an unemployment crisis that needs to be solved. And despite the game hinting that expanding the military by about 400.000 troops would alleviate this problem somewhat and by financing agricultural expansion or building megaprojects and revitalizing industries would open up jobs the unemployment crisis never goes away even if you did all the above mentioned. The game from one side displays in the city view that businesses are booming but in the policy view it still saying in red that there is an unemployment crisis. There is no feedback about what your actions did exactly. No real time numerical representations and data or the ability to ask your ministers about this that could make you understand what effect your actions actually had and why. You can't realistically find out why exactly your decisions failed. Or succeeded. There is also a biased views of politics and I found myself giving a speech in my head for the game about why I made certain decisions but the game does not have a well enough thought out philosophy behind the political ideologies displayed and have completely different options to choose than the reason I choose it for. Which is frustrating. There is only the surface, stereotypical illusion of these ideologies without the deep well understood chain of thoughts that made them what they are and without the ability to reason their validity or explain the why's or convincing others about your views. There are only 4 possibilities, being a communist, a capitalist, a reformist, and a "traditionalist". You can kind of mix these to a degree but more niche or unusual political philosophies like libertarianism, religious nationalism, monarchism, theocratism, etc.. are not really represented. This means your options are somewhat limited and can't create your dream country, more like you have story driven playground to wrap your core story to a chosen political theme. I also have not found a way to really fail and lose despite seemingly really mess up my country. Some options should lead to game over as they are so utterly stupid or bad.
Fantastic game, everything works together, every minor choice seem to have some kind of impact along the way. I was expecting to like this but it turns out I love it. Really my only criticism is the forced Iron Man mode for your first playthrough, as someone who has difficulty finding motivation in playing multiple times I would've prepared to play around with save files for my first playtroughs. Notherless fantastic game.
now you can too prove you are inadequate to actually be the president you think you could be. Jokes aside it's a really good game I really recommend it
This game is fun. The dialogues are written well, and the journey through events while playing as the President of Sordland in Suzerain, or playing as the King of Rizia in Kingdom of Rizia, is a cool experience. Suzerain is the first Visual Novel game I've played and I enjoyed it. If you like Political Simulations you might like this game.
