Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 7 → 24.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome home! The award-winning sci-fi city builder is back - remastered, expanded, and more stunning than ever. Your mission: colonize Mars and survive the process, from exploration and infrastructure to welcoming human colonists and achieving long-term stability. There are new challenges to overcome, new strategies to plan, and now with an upgraded look and feel for a new generation of explorers.
All you need for this relaunched mission to create a thriving Martian settlement is a steady supply of resources, oxygen, decades of training, experience with sandstorms… and a curious attitude to discover the purpose of those weird black cubes that appeared out of nowhere. With a bit of sprucing up, this place is going to be awesome!
Surviving Mars: Relaunched brings together the original colony management game from Haemimont Games, its entire catalogue of expansions, improved and reworked, from major expansions to cosmetics and radio stations, as well as the all-new Martian Assembly update. Upgraded graphics together with updated UI will give veteran players the definitive Surviving Mars experience, and provide an ideal launch point for new commanders as well.
Are you ready? Mars is waiting for you.
The new Martian Assembly brings an expanded endgame challenge never seen in the original. Shape your Martian society through laws. Balance the needs and demands of your colonists, keep the peace and develop a long-term plan for Mars - up to and including independence from Earth!

Building a thriving colony on a planet not fit for human life brings its own challenges. Construct life-support systems, power grids, domes, and supply chains, and keep them running, because blackouts on a planet without oxygen are never a good idea. And you’re not alone. With the included ‘Space Race’ expansion, rival colonies backed by competing sponsors add even more pressure as you fight for resources and the future of Mars.

Balance critical resources like oxygen, water, power, and food to keep your colony alive. Drones build and maintain your infrastructure, while the revamped ‘Martian Express’ adds trains that move people and supplies across longer distances. Every colonist has their own needs and behaviors and smart management is essential for their survival.

Advance your colony through a deep research system that unlocks new buildings, production methods, and essential upgrades. Discover breakthroughs, resources, and hidden secrets reaching ‘Below & Beyond’ the Martian surface. With randomized maps, varied sponsors, and unpredictable Mysteries, every playthrough offers new challenges, and every decision shapes your story of survival and growth on Mars.

Terraforming is no longer a distant dream, it’s your next challenge. With the included ‘Green Planet’ expansion, you can engineer Mars into a more habitable world. As the environment transforms, introduce animal life with ‘Project Laika’, bringing the first creatures to thrive alongside your colonists. The future of Mars isn’t just survival, it’s building a self-sustaining, living planet.

bugs, bugs, bugs, little ones here and there. restarted due to the icons on the map not showing and it was not the O button to show icons ( why did you change that keybind as well ) then things hit by a meteor broken, but when rebuilt the broken ones stayed under it? and destroying the rebuilt one did not destroy but gave the resources back. If this had been a DLC, it would be considered *BAD* but at least cho and others could patch it up with mods. but no real mods have come out from it. I might not get my money back after 12 hours but this is a warning, DO NOT BUY THIS!!! Go to GOG and get the original version which will work/has some support!
Once you get to the late game the drones have zero clue what to do and how to manage properly. Once I actually opened the domes and almost near the end, all the drones stopped maintaining the buildings on the "inside" of the domes, and then everything started to fall apart. After trying to figure out why, the drones instead got stuck right outside and couldn't fix anything.

I love the Surviving series, the original releases pretty much nailed it be it Mars or the Apocalypse. Mars is a topic I have always had a soft spot for so I especially enjoyed Surviving Mars and I still love this game... BUT! The DLCs seem to add new ways to do the exact same thing that's already in the game, mudding the water, extending the game in ways that makes it boring. Kind of like making a brand new version of the wheel, it is all singing and dancing round shape but is now painted blue. Exotic Minerals anybody ? Asteroid maps is an idea that takes you to a new smaller map. I idea is sound but the implementation does not feel like it belongs in the game. This feature will be getting turned off if i can find a way in my next game. Underground maps, why have only one map to watch constantly when you can have 2 that do the exact same things.... only now your attention is torn between 3 different maps (including Asteroids) that each totally fail to share resources, so never feel linked. I will be looking for a OFF setting for this idea in mu next game. I never used it in the original game because I new it would not work and it turns out I was right. Diplomacy and government... sounds like a good idea but its just costly way to gain bonuses, when the money runs out, you lose those bonuses which can often lead to a catastrophic failure of your settlement if you failed to notice how much of a benefit this where before those benefits disappeared suddenly. Again... another idea I will be turning off if I can in my next game. So far I have not really seen a good reason to buy the relaunched game if you already have the original game, new DLCs on the horizon do not get me excited because the old DLCs added nothing worth while to the game IMO, so why would the new ones be any different. So.... my view. If you already own the original Surviving Mars and enjoy it, stick with the original, ignore the DLCs. If you do not have the original, give get the relaunched version and ignore the DLCS. As for the Devs, the games features took players right, your DLCs took a hard left.... maybe you should have saved them for a Surviving Pluto or something... Something I wouldn't like and would never buy. Honestly, it mystifies me what they were trying to achieve with this relaunch... its a step backwards and unballances a great game in several areas if you turn everything on.
the game is advertised as remastered... and better experience... however it looks about the same... the mod library isn't heavily supported by the community because the level of difference is too small so they dont bother... all around the game is bad with regards to the experience being no different from the original with exception to less mods... and just a few things added... not enough "NEW" to warrant cost of game..
At first when I saw this launch, I had mixed feelings. I was looking forward to a new future for the game, updates, patches, fixes. The option to re-purchase the game at launch was supposed to make it cheaper to buy the new version if you already owned the previous one. But that ended up in a big mess, I ended up playing full price and that never got fixed. The game itself is still full of bugs that are evident every single time I play. Among other things, the game just freeze-hangs and I have to kill it through the task manager and lose progress since since the last save. I have reported several bugs but nothing that has been fixed yet. The game has some new things, like a politics system. Sadly I found the politics system very annoying and static, every game round is essentially the same. In retrospect I regret re-buying this game.
Game is still far to bugged to be playable. Tried playing and once I got trains the whole thing bugged out and my colony died because tracks wont connect and become undeleteable. game is till a mess. avoid.
Still broken after 5 month, Farm not working - Great Job
For new players - This game is fantastic, well worth it if this is your sort of thing. The sour grapes coming from returning players do not apply to you. For returning players - It's your call, there is nothing amazingly new but it is nice to have all the content at a good price. It's a small breath of new life into an old game, and it has never pretended to be more. Getting bitter and cutting it down will only gaurentee the end of the franchise, and if you truly like the game you don;t want that, you want more games like this.
