Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 7 → 24.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome home! The award-winning sci-fi city builder is back - remastered, expanded, and more stunning than ever. Your mission: colonize Mars and survive the process, from exploration and infrastructure to welcoming human colonists and achieving long-term stability. There are new challenges to overcome, new strategies to plan, and now with an upgraded look and feel for a new generation of explorers.
All you need for this relaunched mission to create a thriving Martian settlement is a steady supply of resources, oxygen, decades of training, experience with sandstorms… and a curious attitude to discover the purpose of those weird black cubes that appeared out of nowhere. With a bit of sprucing up, this place is going to be awesome!
Surviving Mars: Relaunched brings together the original colony management game from Haemimont Games, its entire catalogue of expansions, improved and reworked, from major expansions to cosmetics and radio stations, as well as the all-new Martian Assembly update. Upgraded graphics together with updated UI will give veteran players the definitive Surviving Mars experience, and provide an ideal launch point for new commanders as well.
Are you ready? Mars is waiting for you.
The new Martian Assembly brings an expanded endgame challenge never seen in the original. Shape your Martian society through laws. Balance the needs and demands of your colonists, keep the peace and develop a long-term plan for Mars - up to and including independence from Earth!

Building a thriving colony on a planet not fit for human life brings its own challenges. Construct life-support systems, power grids, domes, and supply chains, and keep them running, because blackouts on a planet without oxygen are never a good idea. And you’re not alone. With the included ‘Space Race’ expansion, rival colonies backed by competing sponsors add even more pressure as you fight for resources and the future of Mars.

Balance critical resources like oxygen, water, power, and food to keep your colony alive. Drones build and maintain your infrastructure, while the revamped ‘Martian Express’ adds trains that move people and supplies across longer distances. Every colonist has their own needs and behaviors and smart management is essential for their survival.

Advance your colony through a deep research system that unlocks new buildings, production methods, and essential upgrades. Discover breakthroughs, resources, and hidden secrets reaching ‘Below & Beyond’ the Martian surface. With randomized maps, varied sponsors, and unpredictable Mysteries, every playthrough offers new challenges, and every decision shapes your story of survival and growth on Mars.

Terraforming is no longer a distant dream, it’s your next challenge. With the included ‘Green Planet’ expansion, you can engineer Mars into a more habitable world. As the environment transforms, introduce animal life with ‘Project Laika’, bringing the first creatures to thrive alongside your colonists. The future of Mars isn’t just survival, it’s building a self-sustaining, living planet.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
Very confused
A lot of the reviews that are negative are coming at this game from the angle of someone who owns the first version; that's not helpful if you don't own that. So if you own the original, non-remaster version, ignore this review as it's not for you. Surviving Mars is a surprisingly good colony builder game that lets you go at your own pace for taming the red planet. There are milestones that competitions also strive to achieve, a number of starting factions you can play as with different stats and equipment that give them interesting strengths and weaknesses, your starting job gives you a minor boost, and both your faction and job can influence the random events you encounter. What's different about this version and the original is that the research system has been completely revamped; it's now more like a skill tree, with you unlocking a skill point to unlock a tech after you obtain enough research (basically EXP). Unlike the original, you can unlock all the Wonders instead of relying on random chance giving you one or two. It's honestly a lot better, as less RNG in progression is always good! The slow increase in research you need to unlock the tech points also works, though the UI telling you your daily research could be better. There's also the political system which feels... interesting. Not good, but not bad? Just middling. It allows you to modify a few things about your colony, sometimes at the cost of other things (like restoring sanity every night, but no night-shifts for jobs, or faster trains, but daily cost in money or research). You also break away from your starting sponsor (not necessarily your faction), which from what I can tell only brings negatives. There are also renegades that can appear once you start to develop your main colony, but I've only noticed them stealing a pittance of resources from time to time. The only real negative I have to say about the game is the graphics. They added Temporal Anti-Aliasing, which adds ghosting trails to things. Some of the images also look like they were put through an AI upscaler (like the image used for your first Martianborn - the eyes are way too big! That's the worst one though). That's the only true complaint I have about the game. I can recommend Relaunched to anyone who doesn't own the original; I wouldn't recommend the original over this remaster either. $40 is a fair price for you! The person who doesn't own the original! I've played both, and this one feels better to me. If you do own the original, I can recommend it to you in a specific case: if you don't own the DLC for the original (like me). Relaunched gives you all of it, so if you lack some of the DLCs, it'll feel like a real upgrade. Obviously, $40 for an upgrade is too much, but if it's on sale for $20, it's worth it.

You guys had the audacity to remove Surviving Mars and all its DLCs to relaunch practically the same game. lol I spent so much money on the original, and I STILL had to buy this new version to access the new expansions. This is disrespectful to the community. They gave a discount to those who already owned the old game, but even so, we had to pay again for practically the same game, with very few differences. In the end, it seems the only objective is to increase profits, without considering those who have supported the game from the beginning.
Ah surviving mars, the time-sink game of a lifetime. "if I bought all the stuff from the original game, is this worth it?" only if you've sunk 200+ hours into the original and want just a smidgen more complexity. "I passed up the first one and now can't decide which to get" get this one, it has everything, it's a bit cleaner UI, with a few new bugs im sure won't take too long to iron out. It seems odd that they relaunched it so quick, but it seems a lot more intuitive.
For now I will have to not recommend this game. I have loved Surviving Mars for a long while. But with this rerelease of the game the game is completely broken. The new law system makes things become so efficient that the game just kinda breaks. Rockets that instant transmition between Mars and Earth. The University instant educated people. Buildings at 20% or less cost. 25K research from an institute. 1200 Energy from a maned power plant. Which can be more funny than bad. But buildings are so efficient drones can't keep up with the upkeep to make stuff and they turn on and off constantly making an awful racket. The Mohole gnerated 40+ Waste rock each go and drones can't keep up. The game was simply not made for such efficiency and breaks down. Oh. Did I forget to mention being able to get free Polymers breaking that entire resource scarcity. I hope I can change this to recommend in some time when the game has been fixed.
Instead of a thrilling struggle to survive on a harsh, red planet you get a lackluster middle-management experience. And as a bonus, they might pull a RE-relaunch in the future, just screw over you, like they did with the people who bought the original.
Dissapointed. Crash twice after starting game for 5 mins, on Windows. No MacOS support despite the original version does? Relaunched for giving up MacOS support? I have the original version purchased. Bought this at steam sales because the 39.99usd returning pioneers offer is funny compared to steam sales price. I rather have 10usd discount on top of steam sales price instead for being a original version game owner. I bought this game simply because there are so many unfix bugs on the original version. I hope this one at least solved those issues. But I got something worst in return. Good job Paradox Interactive.
Not yet. Far too buggy, especially for a game that supposedly released with a new engine in order to deal with said bugs. If the bugs get ironed out, I will flip my review. I love this game, but as of right now I can't even interact with the underground system or the asteroid catching system without encountering bugs that ruin the experience. What's the point?
So why tumbs down just because i did buy this game on launch and still cant play it. i have been trying to find a way to fix my crashes but no luck. I hope really they find a solution for the crashes.
