About
Prepare during the day. Survive the night.
Survive the Nights is a hardcore open-world survival game where preparation is everything. Scavenge, craft, fortify, and plan during the day — because when night falls, the infected hunt in numbers, and mistakes are punished.
Play solo or with friends in a brutal post-apocalyptic sandbox where survival is earned through smart decisions, strong fortifications, and cooperation under pressure.
Zombie difficulty comes from numbers, not individual strength. By day they roam slowly — by night they gather into massive hordes drawn to player activity. The longer you survive, the bigger and more dangerous the nights become.

Structures and vehicles are fully fortifiable. Cover windows and add strength to gain the advantage.

Settle into your new home by using pegboards, player storage and blueprints to put your stamp on the place. Physically place your items in the world to make your perfect survival hideout. Use traps to get the upper hand. Traps can give you the edge when zombies or raiders arrive.

Cook over an open fire or directly on a stove to manage your calorie and hydration needs. Maintaining your player vitals will increase your overall strength and carrying capacity over time.

Sick of canned food? Head out into the wilderness to hunt for larger animals.

When food stores start to run out, turn to farming for your calorie needs. Protect your crops indoors under light or grow them outside in the warmer months to produce food that will last through winter.

Weapon attachments let you customize your gun and get it just right for your play style.

Every vehicle is repairable. Engine and wheel parts are required to get a vehicle running. Items can be stored in trunks and on truck beds.

Explore the different points of interest to find valuable location-specific loot.

The weather is dynamic including all four seasons along with seasonal vegetation and foliage.

Spend your days preparing to survive the onslaught at night. Zombies are more aggressive and alert when the sun goes down.
Day Objectives: During the day, focus on resource gathering and fortification. Fell trees, craft planks, engage in hunting and trapping. Collect loot, food, and fortify a structure. Ensure doors and containers are locked, fuel generators, and prepare power systems. Keep your health up by lighting fires, crafting bandages, and gearing up for the night.
Night Objectives: At night, prioritize safety and stealth. Team up with friends in a secured structure, favor melee over firearms to stay quiet. Activate generators, power up structures, set traps, and cook meals indoors on wood stoves. The key is to survive until morning.
The mental health system discourages the "Kill On Sight" mentality, promoting alliances for better survival against the zombie threat. While PVP is still a factor, players have ways to correct a negative mental state.
Survival and zombies how you like them! Browse hundreds of scenarios that set the scene for your perfect survival experience. Zombie survival just how you want it.

Powering a structure can provide light to make nighttime activities easier. Some structures also require electricity to power interior and exterior doors.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Frustrating, but great fun, survive at any cost. Excellent
It feels like it has potential.... but it has problems like the UI is terrible, there is a bug affecting vehicles where you fix them and the world straight up swallows them whole. Another issue I have is the world generation it can be done better instead of using steam workshop like why use the steam workshop to create a world it don't make sense it would be better done in the players hands rather then using a custom world from the workshop. This game feels like it was still in early access and should be still in EA doesn't even feel like a complete game.
i like this game alot
good
This game took me by surprise. I bought this and Deadside on the same day because of the summer sale. I downloaded Deadside first and played it for about 20 minutes before I was bored and unimpressed (Nothing against the game as I am sure there is a lot to it, but it seemed a bit cheaply made to really get immersed in it). Then, I downloaded Survive the Nights and played the tutorial. I was hooked right out of the gate. I love the physics and the grit of fighting zombies. it has a real Walking Dead feel to it. The health system is actually brilliant and was taken in a direction I have not seen a game do before. Character progression is dialed in nice and when you are fighting zombies at night you get jump scares constantly. The danger feels real. I still have a lot more to discover and build, but one thing that is really cool about this game is that you can get the regions power and water turned back on once you clear the area of zombies and trip a few levers. This would be amazing multiplayer (So far I have only played solo). The car mechanics are fantastic as well. I plan on playing this one for awhile.
I think this game gets a bad rap from bugs that do exist but are manageable. I know that sounds standard dropping but hear me out on this. It is exactly like HumanitZ which I also own and is very solid, one more shout out would be its similarity to Vein, another solid zombie title. I have found the bug that launches you and your vehicle and I know where to point that blame right away. I used to develop games in Unity, I do not anymore That is why. Unity has collider issues from here to eternity, it always has, so when I see a game having collider troubles especially when inside a vehicle I get it right away. But you know what for anyone reading this. This game is fun dammit and is that not what we all signed up for?
I enjoyed this game with my friends. We tried it on easy mode. Great Ambient music. Great Audio. Great Sound Effects on weapons. Great detail on items and how to build them. Creative ways to get items like in real life. Fun time managing water, food and protection. Lots of places to explore. The driving of the vehicle is very pleasant, I also enjoy the realistic audio of each vehicle's engine. The game has soo much more potential that I would love to see. More weapon crafting. Fishing. Getting bait. Bait farm. Fish Farm. Unique hard zombies. You can do many different geologically generated areas: Cities, Country, Mountainous, Forest, dessert, Oceanic (Island), icy, snow, swamps and so on. Add more cool things we can do to the vehicles for storage and to promote teams going together. Ability to build ammo and more. Fun game overall!
