Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's not a survival game! It's a CRAFTING SIMULATION GAME with horrible user interface. I have played for 6 hrs and I have discovered over 50 crafting items of which I have used only the bed, axe, torch, spear and a few others! I feel overwhelmed by the amount of crafting items presented to me and the sub-crafting items that you need to have to craft other items. Also the bag is a complete mess; all your items share the same space. There is no dedicated space for tools, food, crafting materials, weapons, etc.. All of this is scrambled in the bag; you will have to scroll down and search your bag for weapons foods etc… In other survival games the weapons, tools, food, crafting mats, etc… have different tags do that you can easily search and look for the things you need! However this game just drops everything in one bag,

So I recommended this game, but I hope they will change what I put in here and make it a really good game. I've played this through a few times, and its usually a year or two between each playing. But just finished it I think for the 3rd time, can't remember. But I usually get to towards the end, knowing there was something that made me stop playing this game, but its mostly pretty good. Then it hits me. After I make the Ark I remember that it is slower than the other ships. Or at least a lot slower than the one I had right before it, and it kind of ruins the whole game for me. Because as soon as I make the ship I make plans to move everything onto the ship and make it a mobile base. Then I jump on board and fast travel to the first island where all my stuff is and then go to make it to my base and bam...slower. Then as I was writing this I thought why not at least let the Ark tow a faster boat so that I can get somewhere jump to the smaller boat a zip whereever. So I ran back to the game and tried to hook up a boat to the back using the winch...nope.
I can understand some of the negative reviews and what they're saying, especially regarding game breaking bugs, but I personally never encountered anything game breaking. Yes. the grind can be tedious, and sometimes finding things can be a little hard, but I didn't mind the challenge as it helped me not rush through the game. I personally loved this game. I loved a true player versus environment game as a lot of games tend to have human/creature enemies, but this was straight up just animals versus player. I enjoyed the story. I like the building, but I wish there was more to build. I have yet to try the construction mode, so maybe I just haven't stretched building to its max. I have a few more achievements to get through, but overall, I kept coming back to this game and enjoying it each time! I would recommend this game if you're someone looking for a survival experience set in a time before modern luxuries. Hope this helps if you're thinking of buying this game :)
sorry guys, i gave it a red hot go, but it just feels clunky, the movement, the interaction, the menus. gameplay wise like crafting and such i love all that but just couldn't get over that weird clunky feeling and personally i didn't like the menu layout.
The game would be so much better if I didn't have to spend 2 hours searching for a single rock to progress. The tools damage way too quickly, especially when you need a rock to repair them and can't find any. Despite the rest of the game being enjoyable, the time having to be spent finding basic materials takes the fun out of it entirely.
Took a few attempts over the last couple of years for this one to click with me, but once it did I thoroughly enjoyed it. The way it handles time is a little odd to get used to, and there's some jank here and there with various things, but overall this is an incredible enjoyable survival game. A special note here is that I think this is one of the best integrations of a narrative as motivation in a survival game. The story itself isn't anything ground breaking, but its enjoyable and it legitimately gives the palyer motivation to advance. Really happy I gave this another shot :)
Pretty fun story, lots to do and the sound design is top tier! I've actually been using this game to help me sleep. Made a small cabin by the water and when the thunderstorms roll in, I get a fire going and the audio alone puts me to sleep. Big fan of that!
It's like they designed every single aspect of this game to be as tedious and frustrating as possible. It's just not worth the headache.
