Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.17/day in the week to Aug 5 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You're probably going to want a guide for this game, but overall is a fun play esp. if you are a musician.
One of those games where the vibe does 80% of the heavy lifting and it works. The pixel art is gorgeous, the soundtrack goes crazy hard and the writing has this weird self aware charm that somehow never gets annoying. It's short though. Like, suspiciously short. You'll blink and it's over, which stings a little when you were just getting into it. The moon mechanic is cool in concept but waiting real world days to progress is the kind of design choice that made sense in 2011 and makes me want to lie down in 2026. Still, it's a vibe. A very specific, slightly cryptic, lo-fi aesthetic vibe. If that's your thing, you'll love it. [7.5/10]

I think this game has the most gorgeous, moody, fascinating pixel art ever made for a video game, backed by a wonderful score. Everything else is basically pretty bad. It's a chore to play, but it needs to exist as a game for its art to unfold. So I played the dreadful game, finally with a guide, I coped with the annoying bug here and there and the clunky design choices and finished it. And I love it, and recommend it very fondly.
A super Interesting game. I think I played this on my cell phone when it came out. Def worth experiencing.
we are cosmic friends forever, okay?
Aesthetically, this game is a masterpiece. The pixel art, soundtrack, and overall visual direction of the game is top notch. Gameplay, on the other hand, does leave a lot to be desired—it's dead simple and often tedious, and the "walking simulator" part of it definitely can aggravate you if you backtrack for no reason, especially the constant Mingi Taw fights. With that aside, the game is still good. However, I have one major judgement that I think sets the game apart from being GREAT—and it's the dialogue. I'm not the type of person that likes tongue-in-cheek humor, and I think it seriously detracts from the whole vibe the game is giving off. Sure, there's goofy characters and goofy moments, and you could categorize those into what I'm talking about, but overall the characters talking (especially the way they talk) makes the game uninteresting. If you look at a game like Hyper Light Drifter, it houses the same type of mysterious world this game does, but they don't make the mistake of yapping your ear off with the NPCs, everyone's "silent" or speaks a language that the playable character doesn't. It adds to the vibe heavily in HLD, and I think this game could've benefitted a lot from silent NPCs and a heavier emphasis on environmental guiding/storytelling. Other than that, it's cool, especially if you're a more "musically inclined" person. It takes a while to 100%, and the gameplay can make it feel a lot longer than it actually is.
goated game goated soundtrack
Not a lot happens and it takes a long time to do it. It took me two attempts to figure out because the first time, some years ago, was just too boring to continue. The music and art go well together and they get better towards the end.
would do this in real life
