Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1786.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 17.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is art. All I can say is that this game hits hard emotionally and it's beautiful even without dialogue and just straight up symbolisms only. Really worth trying this game out. I ran out of words on how beautiful this game is.
I don’t quite know how to begin this review. GRIS spoke to me in a language very few games manage to speak. It is a story about loss, processing grief, and the quiet acceptance that while the world inside you fights to survive, the world around you keeps moving. When I was 14, I lost one of my parents and often struggled to express my feelings to friends and family, which often made me shut down and deal with things on my own. GRIS, today, gave a tangible, beautiful form to so many of the emotions I struggled to express back then. The story follows a young girl, whom you accompany on a path of confusion, loneliness, and deep sadness, to courage, hope and acceptance in the form of different levels. GRIS gently guides you on a quiet journey back to yourself, reminding you to hold onto what truly matters, and never lose faith in your inner strength. For anyone who loves deeply moving stories, without the need for a single word, I cannot recommend GRIS highly enough. It will touch your soul, melt your heart and probably stay in your head for a long time after playing.
A história é absurda e a progressão é belíssima.
GRIS is an incredible audio-visual experience with masterful puzzle design. First and most obviously, this game is beautiful in every sense of the word. From the watercolour artstyle, to the soothing sound design, striking music and the simple, yet beautiful story, GRIS is a simply marvelous experience for the eyes, ears and heart. It's no slouch in the gameplay department either. At first, the levels seem simple; basic even, but the puzzles are deceptively masterful in their design. The game has very little written tutorials within it, which may at first seem like the game would be confusing to navigate, but the game very naturally teaches its mechanics to the player with it's level design. I was seriously impressed on how clever the puzzles are, they aren't too easy to be mindless, but are still very fair and clear. Never once needed a guide while playing my first playthrough. If I had to nitpick something, it can be sometimes visually unclear when a surface can/cannot be collided with. There are a few points where it I thought i could walk on something or walk through something, and the opposite ended up being true. It's a very minor blemish on an otherwise phenomenal game. Overall, GRIS is an incredible game, well worth it's price (even moreso if it's on sale or recieved as a gift). I highly recommend going through this game without spoiling yourself, simply masterful
-Quick Review- Gris is a beautiful artistic 2d platformer indie game developed by Nomada Studio and released in 2018, where you play as a lost girl named Gris who is dealing with a painful experience in her life. The story description is left vague because there’s no dialogue of any kind and the story is told with music and imagery. Review Video: If you don't like reading, or are curious about watching gameplay check out my video here: https://youtu.be/LG93A0-dGCI -Detailed breakdown review- Story: As has already been said, the story for Gris is told without dialogue, without narration, without text. Another strength of this style of storytelling in this way is that it becomes universally accessible regardless of your spoken language. Gris (the lost girl) has had her world shattered by some traumatic life event. The visuals are obviously meant to be interpreted metaphorically. The Game starts with Gris being held in the hand of a crumbling statue, Gris attempts to sing but can no longer do so, at this point Gris falls with the crumbling statue and all the color in her world is lost. You’ll spend the next few hours helping Gris struggle her way through the trials and tribulations to bring color back to the world and empower Gris to get through the ordeal. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3701562967 Gameplay: Gris is a 2d platformer, so the controls are super simple, movement is A and D or directional inputs if you’re using a controller, jump, stomp, and sing buttons. I think Gris is slightly better when played with a controller because the layout is more natural, however you can play Gris on several different platforms and it’s good with keyboard controls too… just use what you’ve got available. One of my favorite parts of the game is how at the end of each chapter, a new color was added to the world as Gris gets a bit stronger. It’s a very powerful narrative tool and Gris is chock full of good sometimes-subtle narrative cues to watch for and appreciate. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3701565239 Conclusion: I picked up Gris a year or two ago while it was 90% off and figured “what the heck, I’ll give this artsy fartsy game a play”. I had never heard of it and decided to give it a go because I added it to my Wishlist due to its interesting and pretty visuals. And I’m really glad that I did get it! Will I remember this game forever? Nah. Did Gris really connect with me on an emotional level? Kinda-sorta? I’ve got stuff going on in my life right now, I think everyone’s got stuff going on. So, in that way Gris did connect with me. However, I didn’t connect in the same way I grieve; but that doesn’t mean I don’t have an appreciation for Gris and its beautiful music and visuals. …But I’m going to leave it at that, because if I go into any more depth there, I will start to cry.
