About
Super Meat Boy 3D is a tough as nails platformer where you play as an animated cube of meat who's trying to save his girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages) from an evil fetus in a jar wearing a tux – IN 3D!
Our meaty hero will leap from walls, over seas of buzz saws, through crumbling caves and pools of old trash sacrificing his own well-being to save his damsel in distress – IN 3D!
Super Meat Boy 3D brings the old school difficulty of classic retro titles we all know and love and streamlines them down to the essential no bull straight forward twitch reflex platforming. Ramping up in difficulty from hard to soul crushing Meat Boy will brave lush (but also on fire) forests, vast dumps filled with the waste of mankind, and high-tech forges producing the very traps that will inevitably kill Meat Boy over and over and over - IN 3D!
And if a bunch of levels weren't enough, we also have epic boss fights and tons of unlockable secrets – IN 3D!

Tough-as-nails precision platforming action
Brutal, but fair levels designed to break you.
Boss. Fights.
Dark World levels so tough, you'll scream in the rain at a bus stop.
A soundtrack that was once described by a Guitar Center employee as “hey, either buy the guitars or get out. We’re seriously going to call the cops!”
3D!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is buggy and has at least two levels I counted that you pretty much have to switch to a different character to get through with any consistency because of said bugs, but it's a lot more fun than Forever. I heard someone say it's basically SMB but 3D, and, not really. It's more like a reimagining than a 3D remake. If you're coming into it hoping for Cotton Alley or the same level of difficulty as SMB, you will be disappointed because there's no Cotton Alley and this game is a great deal easier. Though for a buggy game made in UE4 with the stability of wet cardboard, that's probably for the best. Despite the game being undercooked, I found it enjoyable enough to 100%, which is more than I can say for Forever.
прикольно раньше прыгал в 2д а теперь в 3д типо вверх низ лево право и чё там ещё есть
I think the game has a really cool base and some levels are quite fun. There a lot of small flaws that really prevent me from loving the game and recommending it. There are some really odd level design decisions that maybe were forgivable in the era of the OG game but today just feel unpolished or not well tested. Depth perception is a HUGE issue in the game. It can be VERY difficult to tell the depth of your player (even with the shadow and outline enabled) and the depth of objects. There is a secret level based on another game that I thought would be a fun callback but ends up being extremely infuriating because SMD3d's floaty movement is inherently less precise than the game the level is based on. Overall I would say, unfortunately, that it's only worth it for huge SMB fans, otherwise I think there are better platformers to play.
This game feels like if Super Mario 3D world and Dark souls have a Child.
Great game that is unplayable in its current state. Eight directions. And one speed. That's all you get. If you like every attempt to micro-adjust your jumps to result in blasting directly into the Dr Fetus Chain-mech, then this is the game for you. If you want every dash to go in the wrong direction, you'll get exactly that. If you want an entire game of those horrible platforming sections from Mario RPG, this is for you. But there was a squirrel strip club in a tree and I got it dirt cheap, so whatever. To the back of the shed it goes.

Really fun translation from the original Super Meat Boy into a 3D Platformer, the difficulty challenge feels just right and the warp zones have so much creativity.
