One time while driving home from work late one winter night I was heading down a hill towards a red light with one van waiting at it up ahead- I tried to brake but my car decided that black-ice was it's better and I began to panic as I raced headlong into an impending rear collision. At the last second, mid-scream, instincts kicked in and I sharply veered to the right and threaded myself between the astonished, stationary van and the traffic light pole without so much as winging a mirror (and my car was an old, fatass Infiniti too- it was like driving a fridge) Scream turned into hysterical cackling as I ran my first red light in a most spectacular fashion and drifted right into my desired turn towards home without further incident. Pretty sure I can thank Super Hexagon for those instincts that night.
