Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I beat this game twice within a week. You know if this game is made for you or not just by looking at it. If it is just go ahead and buy this masterpiece. I went into this thinking funny jank chess souls, I left this game knowing it will stay my Top 3 for all of 2026. The amount of love and care put into this game by the devs makes any imperfection wash away almost entirely. The music, the art, the voice acting, the story, all done so well with such attention to detail. The combat system is entirely unique and (not sure if this was previously done) I really liked the idea of not having a numbered amount of heals, and it being based on how many successful parries you can land. Always giving you a chance to come back into the fight. This team given a larger budget could easily make a GOTY. 11/10
I didn't think anything would give me the parry-dopamine that Sekiro had, but this definitely did. A must-try for fans of the genre.

I love the concept and somewhat gameplay but the only thing making it really bad for me is that certain enemies have little to no vision of their attacks so if your a player like me who tries to get as much damage in as possible then walk back you can't because you own character is bigger than the enemy and you can't see them, otherwise it's a great game just wish I could see attacks more clearly.
Stonemachia surprised me, it's a game made by a very small team where you can see the passion and hard work behind it. The combat system is pretty frenetic and customizable enough with the "4" characters available with a different playstyle for each of them. There are more than 20 bosses, each of them unique in their own way, in terms of moveset and design; some bosses are quite hard but still enjoyable, and never feel unfair. The worldbuilding is phenomenal, the italian folklore inspiration is clearly visible in the enemies and in the beautiful environment with astonishing animated skies of the skybox, completed by the soundtrack which is probably my favourite aspect of the game. The only critique I have is regarding the story: in my opinion it feels hard to understand what's happening and to follow everything, it loses the characterization of the world and it makes the overall experience less impactful. If you like fast paced fighting, fantastic worldbuilding, and want to support a small but passionate and capable team, buy the game, it's basically a steal at the current price!

Stonemachia is an absolute marvel, a stunning game in every aspect. During all the hours I dedicated to it, it never ceased to amaze me. It has become not only one of my all-time favorite games but also my Game of the Year. What makes this work so special? As everything is the sum of its parts, in terms of art—visual, auditory, and narrative—it is simply outstanding. From beginning to end, the designs of the enemies and locations ooze charisma, managing not only to be memorable but also unique in many moments, with some of the most memorable designs I've seen in years. The game uses its inspirations masterfully, combining Italian culture and art history with chess to create something truly original. The music is no less impressive, following the same philosophy, using its diverse inspirations to create not only moving, thematic, emotive, charismatic, and utterly unique pieces, but also surprisingly varied throughout the entire game. And the narrative is surprisingly more solid than it might seem, with a deep and complex lore, a story with diverse and memorable twists, and surprisingly well-crafted character arcs. And of course, let's not forget that it's a game. Mechanically, it remains impressive. Stonemachia offers a frenetic and dynamic experience, with fast and powerful enemies that have narrow attack windows, practically forcing you to parry. You play as Zefiro, a pawn fallen from the heavens who wields the powers of chess to transform into different pieces: the pawn, the bishop, the rook, the knight, and the queen. You're forced to combine them during combat to make the most of their varied catalog of abilities and synergies. It's not only incredibly fun but also a more than adequate challenge, testing not only your speed and precision but also your mastery of these abilities, making it incredibly satisfying to master. Like any work, it has its flaws; it can be repetitive or excessively challenging at times, but these are truly minor details in the overall great experience that Stonemachia offers. An absolutely outstanding game, and highly recommended.
after finding this game from an instagram reel online I decided to try it and good LORD the OST is really good, honestly this is an underrated soulslike with an interesting and compelling premise
I loved this game starting new game plus right now. I have potato pc so I relied on chesspieces combination more so then the parry system(wich works really great but is generally not my cup of tea). Loved creating army of dudes and stacking power ups on them. I found the level design good to great with my favourite zones being the Village of stone and the Valley of Mills. I would love to see a dlc eventually focusing on this weird questing that this 2 stages had.
