great universe, theme, and character development. gameplay is a complete walking sim with some occasional stealth/chase segments. story didn't hit as much as i'd like. characters, locations, and plot points were fun but didn't create a big unifying premise. [spoiler]my main takeaway from this story is just, "man caz dont get on that rig" which doesn't feel very rewarding. its like a scripted bad ending that doesn't give me anything to work with. he dies, his family is gonna be shattered, and everyone on the rig dies. but he was sad and regretful the whole time so its actually great![/spoiler] overall the game was enjoyable, but will not be as memorable as I had hoped it would be (compared to similar titles like SOMA)

I absolutely recommend this game, from casual players to gaming enthusiasts, globally. One of the best video games of all time. Beautiful story writing and visuals that scared the piss out of me. Overall the best horror game and one of the best video games to ever be concieved, let alone played. The Devs of this game should be in the Hall of Fame and getting recognition for creating this masterpiece. Playing this game is truly a memorable experience that I will not forget and anyone who has not had the chance to play is missing out on absolute cinema.
Really fing good game. Beatiful graphics, good story, good controls. the sort of 3.5-4 hour length is good. If it would be 1 hour it be too short but 10 hours would feel too much of running around in a oil rig. Anyways recommended the game alot. I won't play the DLC as I hear it's not good. But anyways this game is really good.
En el papel este juego no debería haberme gustado. Estoy algo cansado de los juegos que se sienten "sobre rieles" todo el rato con puzzles que no son verdaderamente puzzles y sin mayor mecánica que esconderse. Pero la ambientación es original y está muy bien lograda, los personajes, aunque no se llega a interactuar mucho con ellos, llegan a ser memorables y la historia tiene puntos que pegan muy fuerte, por mucho que se vean venir.
An amazing perfectly paced, acted, written, and designed oceanic horror game with a ton of heart. The developers have also optimized it a ton since it launched.
