Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 12.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I’ve read some of the negative complaints here, and I can understand why Still Wakes the Deep might not hit quite as hard on a flat screen. But if you have the chance, play it in VR. You don’t need an extreme PC either. I played it on an RTX 3090 at high settings, and it ran smoothly throughout. This game feels like it was made for VR. The sense of height and depth, the claustrophobic environments, the underwater sections, and especially the incredible sound design create an unforgettable experience. I can imagine the gameplay feeling a little flat on a monitor, but in VR, very few walking simulators can compete with it. Honestly, I can’t think of a single one right now. Play it in VR, and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
I enjoyed this game, particularly for the money spent. Without spoilers, I found the ending very touching. The game is not well optimised however, and even with DLSS I was getting a lot of drops at certain points. Nonetheless, I would recommend picking this game up on sale. Some say the game lacks length (4 - 5 hours for my run), but I think given the nature of the mechanics and to avoid repetition it works well. The setting also justifies it, as I think to go on longer would become tedious.

great atmosphere
Great game! It was interesting, intense, claustrophobic, funny at times, sad at others, I really enjoyed this game. I also really liked the silver screen mode, It made it feel more intense. I absolutely recommend this to any one who like survival horror games.
Amazing graphics, insane voice acting, very cool mechanics that replace teh standard E to use button. an overall 10/10 to me.
The sea god try's to drive me mad every time I'm near an OSHA violation so I decided to kill my boss.
great game !
the first hour was atmospheric and amazing, but in my second session the game got stuck on the menu screen with no controller input whatsoever. clean install does not help either, sadly unplayable on the steam machine...
