Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 12.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I completed this game in about 4 hours, with some of my playtime being messing with settings and leaving the game on pause. It's a short 4 hour experience that somehow felt about 16 hours too long. The setting is quite good, I can't really comment on the story since there is an Audio bug where Cas is barely audible regardless of what settings you apply. It's downfall is you have very limited interaction with the world, beyond throwing cups and doing the same "Go from A to B and pull a lever" missions. I think by the 10th choresome treck accross the ship to flip a switch I was ready for the game to be over. One additional annoyance:
Roy!!!! Are you kidding me Roy. The guy hides in a food store the entire game, is completely incapable of walking down a hallway to grab his insulin, then when he dies after doing absolutely nothing we're supposed to be bothered! But it seems as though the devs couldn't figure out pathfinding for NPC's
This could have been Alien: Isolation on a Scottish oil rig, but they did the bare minimum with the premise. A real disappointment. The good: the setting, the graphics, the visuals, the dialogue and voice-acting. An electrician on a North Sea oil rig in 1976 that accidentally unleashes an alien deep sea monster is a great premise for a horror. An okay backstory where the protagonist is on the run from the cops for assaulting a guy in Glasgow, and his misses is threatening divorce. So the monster comes to represent his fears, which he has to face etc etc. The Scottish dialogue and voice acting is superbly done. The problem: the gameplay is non-existent and the setting isn't explored well at all. - This is the most rail-roaded game I've ever played. One route and you're jammed down it. You could play the whole thing holding down shift to sprint and it would bounce you down the corridors. - The character is apparently a super human athlete; death-defying jumps onto ladders, monkey bars in belting wind, lengthy swims beneath freezing oil-coated water. Very silly. - The gameplay, besides the daft parkour, is to turn the same duplicated valve wheel and push the same duplicated lever. There's no minigame or detail controlling what should be complex machinery on an oil rig. It should have been closer to Stories Untold or Observation. - There's no worldbuilding. You get 10mins at the start to have a look in some of the cabins and have a handful of conversations in the canteen, before the manager starts barking on the tannoy for you to go to his office. So you feel rushed and don't want to explore; and then it's too late. There should have been a full day to do work, meet and talk to the crew, explore some of the locations, be immersed in the 1970s industrial scene. A minigame where the electrician (you) repairs something to prepare the player for minigames later in the story (which don't exist). 1970s Britain has the oil crisis and subsequent threat of deindustrialisation and trade union escalation, the Troubles etc. But besides one sentence by a trade unionist moaning about the shoddy state of the rig you get no sense of the wider context. The setting was wasted.
I don't know if I've ever played another game with this much Scottish cursing and swearing in it. 10/10
Still Wakes The Deep
Skillfully written; combining suspense and drama in a thilling combination, plus art direction that is impressive; Still Wakes the Deep is fast paced and dramatic. Easy to get lost into and spend a few hours following the horror narative, reaching the ending is very gratifying. One of the more enjoyable stories I've played, I found it very easy to flow with the plot and have fun. Rated 9 out of 10.
Actual masterpiece, beat base and DLC 10/10 absolutely worth it on sale
