About
The city burns and bleeds as it suffers the madness of King Louis XVI and his violent legions of automatons. Aegis, a mechanical masterpiece created by the engineer Vaucanson to be the queen's bodyguard, must save the French Revolution in this challenging action-RPG.
Up against the king's mechanical soldiers, deadly accuracy will be needed. String together dodges, parries, jumps and devastating attacks to fight your way through Paris. Every fight will test your nerve and requires excellent discipline, while the huge relentless machine bosses demand patience and skill.
Define your own style and upgrade your abilities as you progress through the game. You can play as a ruthless warrior, a hard-hitting bodyguard, a deadly dancer or a virtuoso of the elemental arts. Take advantage of a wide variety of weapons and skills to approach each fight in your own unique way.
Using carriages, grapples, secret passages, a detailed map, and other methods and tools you find along the way, explore a city experiencing its darkest days. Your grappling hook adds a new dimension to exploration and Paris's verticality. Combined with your dash ability, it will provide access to all the city's secrets across multiple levels you can explore over and over again.
You are one of the main characters of an alternative history where Paris is being choked by a tyrant king. Allies and enemies with unclear motives will cross your path, such as Marie-Antoinette, Lafayette and Robespierre. It's up to you to cut a path through all the plotting and put an end to one man's madness so that the French Revolution succeeds.

Неплохая игра, но очень лёгкая. Все боссы убиваются за спиной :D Атмосфера отличная. Эгида - классная девушка-автоматон! Париж, роботы и революция. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3431005448
I got this suggested again to play, remembered I didnt leave a review so long ago and decided "WTH, why not?" ok, let's start this puppy. The review is negative but it's most a "meh" than a "bleah". The pro: it's very well done, graphically very nice even with its age, you can play it well with both keyb+mouse or joypaad, there arent many bugs, the exploration is fun as is the search for secrets, the fight is satisfying (for the first half hour). All in all if everything would stay in line with this, the game would be a 8/10 the neither: there is no quest list except for the main (so you have to keep one for yourself and some people like it), the map is a mockery that's only useful for fast travel (so you have to memorize all the maps, some people live for that and I respect that), inventory management is... mid I'd say, they storyline is as good as yesterday pizza (it's not bad, some love it more like this actually, but could be hot and pippin), the platform require just a little precision when following the main story and a lot of precision when hunting secrets The minus (more detailed cuz it's needed): -very little enemy variation and mostly congregated togheter except for the most trash mob. -the fight became unsatisfying after half an hour for the simple fact that you find "falchion and sabre" a dual weapont that basically destroy the balance of the game when coupled with the cooling function (once you deplete your stamina you can recover up to 100% of it with a QTE). Shortly put: as soon as an enemy start an attack simply dash toward its side and push three time Q (special attack: tornado something). this will deplete ANY normal enemy equilibruim bar and while the enemy go down, swap weapont to an heavy damage one, push that cooling button and one shot the tired mob. Bosses need five Q with a cooling QTE in the middle of it, but so long you are careful of their AOE nothing will stop you after you get that weapont. Basically the game soundtrack became PAPAPA-PAPAPA-PAPAPA-BOM rinse repeat -it follow that the fighting became monotonus because any weapon you find after FaS is just a stat check for the one shot and little more. I mean, sure, you could try the dozen other weapons you can find, but they are either slow AF or two orders of magnitude worse than FaS. The parry fans seem fun until you realize that the one-hit after the parry does much less damage than the one on a "tired" enemy. Like half of that. Even the freezing gun cant stop the enemy as fast as FaS. -while secrets are fun to find, normal enemies drop two things: 1 slow acting HP potion and/or up to 3 elemental ammo. Stop. -the cooling can be made even more OP since normally you lose a lil bit of hp us force cool yourself, so from time to time you need to drink a potion, but with a module that you find very early you can cut down that cost too. Personally I finished the game ASAP without even thinking about side quests and uninstalled it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Um dia comum na França.
About as generic as a soulslike gets.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. I bought it years ago and got frustrated for some reason and just picked it up again and I'm glad I did. - Difficulty: I'm not great at souls-likes but I managed to work my way through this pretty well. Can be difficult at times, and you dread seeing certain enemy types. - Combat: Seems quite clunky compared to FromSoft and similar games, but you need to rememerb that you're a automaton. She and all the enemies are robot puppets from 250 years ago functioning on cogs and fueled by steam and magic, - Mechanics: Some VERY unique mechanics here. You won't find a simple sword or axe or spear here. Very unique and fascinating weapons systems and mechanics for upgrades and items. - Story: Fantastic. I'm not a history buff (I've heard of Marie Antoinette but no idea who she was). Set in an an alternate reality 1700s during the French Revolution this game tells an interesting take on the events leading up to
the end of the French Monarchy and the eventual demise of Louis XVI.
. Graphics: Stunning. - Customisation: Meh. There are a few face and hair options but it's pretty basic. Remember, she's a designed puppet, not a biological life-form. - NPCs: Great characters. The voice acting is pretty great, but the animation... is absolutely appalling. The emotionless, expressionless PC puppet is more human than the actual humans. Squinting during cutscenes is recommended. - Level design: Can be a little frustrating, since it's set primarily in Paris urban areas a lot of the environment seems repetitive but hey that's old centuries' old architecture and cities. It's easy to get lost, but you get used to it. There's no map but you can highlight waypoints. There are some elements of choice throughout, and I imagine they'd change the NPC interactions a bit, I doubt the ending is affected much. I'm not interested in replaying it to try it out, but there is NG+ for someone who is. Overall very cool game and I'm glad I came back to it.
At first i liked this game, i saw similarities with lies of p, but i liked this game more, but only the first 10 hours, the longer i played, i noticed how crooked it was. it's just a cheaply made lies of p and that's it, very easy, i passed the game the first time without healing. overall it's not some masterpiece, it's just a casual game to pass the time.

This game was a breath of fresh air. The weapons were cool. The areas were cool. The enemies and bosses were cool. The atmosphere was cool. Just a cool game and enjoyed playing through it. Only thing I'd say is that for a soulslike it's pretty easy which could either be a bad or good thing depending on the player. If a second game comes out I'll definitely play it.
Don't buy it! Boycott Nacon! Justice for Spiders!
https://www.stjv.fr/en/2026/04/spiders-liquidation-a-tale-of-social-destruction/ https://www.thegamer.com/greedfall-studio-spiders-boycott-against-closure-nacon/
