This is a game about two things. Deciphering words, and tedium. Deciphering the language of the game can be done in two days. Either you can try to guess the words from the context they appear in, which is what almost the entire gameplay revolves around. You can also figure out the entire language pattern from information you get within the first two minutes of gameplay, which is what I did, thus making almost the entire context based word guessing completely redundant. Then comes the tedium. The game starts off saying "this can be a short or long story", "every interpretation is correct", and "the story will change depending on your interpretations and interactions". That is flat out false. Beyond deciphering the words, there is nothing more to this game. There is exactly one correct interpretation for every word. And the story BARELY changes. Literally the only thing that influences what ending you get (and I use the word "ending" VERY loosely, as you only get a few different bits of dialog at the end and that's the only thing that's different) is whether or not you opened the secret room and which words you say at the end. That's it. Nothing else in the game has any impact on anything. The cooking minigame doesn't matter. The plant minigame doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how you answer any of the girl's questions, it doesn't matter if you interpret any of the dreams correctly. None of it matters. Only those two things do. And here is the worst part: If you say the wrong word, you have to replay the entire game. From the start. And none of it is skippable. So if you want to get all endings without using a guide (I STRONGLY recommend using a guide), then your gameplay will be "waste several minutes just skipping through the game, say one word from the list, realize its the wrong one and replay from start to finish again". Do that several times, and that's the entire game. (Pro tip: You can go to the menu and select "return to title" to redo the current day, or press Alt+F4 when you're at the end screen). This game has one fun puzzle, which is figuring out how to decipher the words. Then it has a tiny semblance of a story, which is squandered by the absolute tedium that is the non-existant gameplay where the developers lie and gaslight you into believing anything you do in the game makes any difference. It doesn't. There was something here. There were the beginnings of a story that isn't utilized to its full potential. There was a fun puzzle. And that's it. If the game were structured in a way that the language worked differently and wasn't immediately solveable, in a way where you actually HAD to use context clues and have an actual interpretation that isn't just a 100% objective fact intended by the developers, where the story was actually ambiguous and up to interpretation, it could've been great. If the game actually rewarded you for spending so much time figuring out the language, it would have been amazing. Instead, it just feels like a waste of time. I spent hours decoding the language and had fun. For that, I was rewarded with what could GENEROUSLY be described as a story. I spent even more hours trying to influence literally ANYTHING in the game. Trying out different words. Succeeding or failing at the minigames. Interpreting the dreams correctly or incorrectly. Trying to get ANY different ending. Trying to get to the "long story" that the developers promised. And that they lied about. And I was rewarded with nothing. All I'm left with is a bitter taste in my mouth.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

7/10 - Amazing story but falls short in quite a few aspects Pros The story and art design are easily the game's strongest aspect. It's very sad and sweet and supported by a pretty good soundtrack. For the most part, expanding your vocabulary is pretty enjoyable and satisfying as well. The true ending was fairly enjoyable to watch. Cons: I have to agree with a lot of the negative comments regarding fact that the language system is pretty unenjoyable. They wanted to go with the pseudo-caveman style of language to simplify things and make it easier to translate. In return a lot of important and less-specific words like concepts become much harder to solve and decipher because you can really only go off the grammatically incorrect dialogue. Additionally, many words that you unlock have little significance within the story and seem to exist simply for the sake of existing. You spend time learning ingredients and numbers only for it to go nowhere after following a recipe. The endings are pretty weak too in my opinion. There's a big lack of variation and the game just expects you to figure out how to achieve certain endings on your own. Once again the lack in coherent sentences weakened the game's ability to communicate with the player subtly. Additionally, you get one ending per run and while you can instantly sleep to pass days, it becomes arguably tedious if you're doing it without a guide. Conclusion: Despite the numerous criticisms, I still heavily enjoyed this game. I'm a sucker for unraveling stories and incrementally solving the picture type of games. I think I'm just disappointed because it easily had the potential to be a lot more than it is currently. Final thoughts and Commentary (Minor spoilers ahead) I think the game's biggest missed opportunities was its lacking character depth. While [Redacted] remains mostly a mystery until the very end, the protagonist remains a blank slate for almost the entire game and their lack of identity crisis puzzles me. As you slowly and painfully relearn the language, there are very few moments where you rediscover your identity, I'm talking about things like interests, habits, and even general personality. This would have naturally strengthened your relationship with [Redacted], as you could gradually learn why the two of you fell in love in the first place and slowly rebuild that connection over the 7 days. I think the game definitely would've benefited more from having more playtime and giving the player more opportunities to actually utilize their expanding vocabulary. I mentioned earlier that you learn how to cook and follow recipes but it never really had an impact on the story other than [Redacted] being happy you can cook. I think a few new areas and a more linear style on learning vocabulary would've helped quite a bit. So tending to the garden could've had you learning ingredients that would help you learn how to cook in which you could make dinner for [Redacted] and get some meaningful information/vocabulary from the following dialogue. And maybe there could have been multiple of these mini subplots going on at the same time which slowly help develop the story. That said, I also understand that this is definitely easier said than done and would be a massive scope increase so I have to applaud the devs on what they were able to accomplish already. In a way, this review ended up being a love letter to the game and what it could have been. To anyone that was willing to read this far, thank you for your time and have a nice day.
Prob worth saving your money. The premise of the game is great and discovering different endings but the actual gameplay is quite straightforward if you don't overthink. You end up finishing the game very quicky (did 2.9hours and finished with 2 endings already). Recommendations: - It would be nice to get daily newspapers or interactions from the outside - Would be nice to have more emotional responses from the female character - Would be nice to have confirmation for some words outside of dreams
С 0 знания английский и шифр цезарь пройти игра было довольно сложно и интересно, всем советовать игра
I broke this game down into the following categories: Scored 1 through 10 (10 being the highest value) Did I like the game? Yes solid 8/10. Was the game difficult? Certainly 8/10 (Pattern recog required) Was this game a certified pain in my rear? Undoubtedly 9.5/10 you will pain. Did I enjoy the overall experience, Yes. 8.5/10 Would I recommend this title to non linguist enthusiasts? No.... 4/10 would only recommend to niche groups. Overall I enjoyed this game and the 8 hours I spent playing it. Completing this game heavily relies on when you decide you are done. Although there is very little hidden, what secrets you will find will leave you interested to find more. You may find more, or you may find you have found them all and will not know.

I just finished my first blind playthrough of the game. It took me about 4 and a half hours, though obviously that was just how long i had the game open i wasn't 100% focused the entire time. It's really good. It genuinely felt like I was making progress, and each day i figured out something new. Now i'm torn on whether to keep playing blind and try to figure out every word, or to dig deep about the lore, because i REALLY want to fully understand it. Whiel of course it was frustrating sometimes being unable to figure out a word's meaning, only a few words truly remained unintelligible and i never felt bored. So overall, amazing pacing, amazing game design, i mean it is almost a direct pipeline from performing better to learning more and thus it feeling rewarding, and pretty great choices on what information to give and what to restrain.
Quite an interesting experience, although the endgame was really lacking. Turns out all endings are determined by 2-3 words you say on the final day. I'd love to see some more variation throughout the days and especially in the endings. It's *really* not interesting to go through the whole week a second time.
This is the first time I give out a negative review, but I think this game is not worth the time. The style and music are not bad but nothing to write home about. While the translating part lasts the gameplay is no boring but also nothing amazing, since you have no way of knowing if you are correct and it can become a little frustrating. But the bad part starts once you have mostly every word figured out, the game gives you no hints about how to get the different endings and in my opinion is overly obscure (and I personally like games to NOT tell me things, but this seemed impossible to discover without looking it up in the internet). To add insult to injury the endings are all basically the same but with a bit more of dialogue and you have to complete the game again to change your answer and maybe get a slightly different one, and the game at this point is just plain boring. If you like these kind of games where you can spend days or weeks thinking about it and trying out every possibility then you'll like it, if not you'll probably get frustrated like I did.
fun game worth the money but DONT give urself spoilers by searching the solution the whole point is interpreting context urself and filling in the story
