The city burns and bleeds as it suffers the madness of King Louis XVI and his violent legions of automatons. Aegis, a mechanical masterpiece created by the engineer Vaucanson to be the queen's bodyguard, must save the French Revolution in this challenging action-RPG.
Up against the king's mechanical soldiers, deadly accuracy will be needed. String together dodges, parries, jumps and devastating attacks to fight your way through Paris. Every fight will test your nerve and requires excellent discipline, while the huge relentless machine bosses demand patience and skill.
Define your own style and upgrade your abilities as you progress through the game. You can play as a ruthless warrior, a hard-hitting bodyguard, a deadly dancer or a virtuoso of the elemental arts. Take advantage of a wide variety of weapons and skills to approach each fight in your own unique way.
Using carriages, grapples, secret passages, a detailed map, and other methods and tools you find along the way, explore a city experiencing its darkest days. Your grappling hook adds a new dimension to exploration and Paris's verticality. Combined with your dash ability, it will provide access to all the city's secrets across multiple levels you can explore over and over again.
You are one of the main characters of an alternative history where Paris is being choked by a tyrant king. Allies and enemies with unclear motives will cross your path, such as Marie-Antoinette, Lafayette and Robespierre. It's up to you to cut a path through all the plotting and put an end to one man's madness so that the French Revolution succeeds.

i don't get how to pass it - every level is full of creeps package, what to play where is not cut-scene than go damage creeps game? maybe first image but it not balanced for funny pass
ストーリー中盤でリタイア、ソウルライクを遊ぶ燃料である、達成感、キャラの育成、MAP探索といった要素のすべてが30～40点 良い点もあるがそれよりも悪い点が多く、時間を使って遊ぶ価値が最後まで見いだせなかった。 原因がザコ戦のバランスの悪さ。 ステはMAXの8割、武器は最終1つ手前まで上げたが、なんというか、、、何かが変わった、戦法を確立できたという気は1度もしない。 結果、ザコ戦はずっとストレスでしかなく、そのせいでクリアする達成感、キャラ育成の楽しみ、MAP探索もつまらんという状態に。 アシストモード(難易度軽減)が追加されてはいるが、被ダメやスタミナといった受動的な部分の改善で、ザコ戦のストレスは減らない。 モーションは武器種ですべて同じで特殊技とステに差があるだけ。武器種は9種類。 某ゲームのように武器種内でモーション差を探し、戦法に組み込むということはできない。 3年前は結構尖ったステの武器があり、その尖りをビルドに落とし込んで面白い戦法が組めたようだが、現在はすべてナーフされ武器の特色は薄まり、どれもこれも戦い方に大差ない戦法しか取れない状態になった模様。 つまり、開発者はユーザーに遊び方を考えさせる気はなく、「オレたちが想定した範囲内で遊べ」ということだろう。 良い点 ・MAPの作りがよく、探索しようという気になる。（ザコがウザくて台無し） ・緊急冷却(スタミナ全快)は可能性を感じる。（ザコの反撃技で台無し） 悪い点 ・戦闘-道中のザコ戦が致命的にウザい ・ストレスがたまるザコ戦なのに中盤から複数戦が当たり前で、ストレスはさらにマッハ ・ボス戦は薄味、初見突破余裕の難易度でひたすら同じことを繰り返して倒す作業感が強い ・防具に意味がほぼ無い、耐性などを有効活用できるシーンがない。 ・経験値とレベルアップ、強化のコストのバランスが悪く、自身の成長が感じられない ・登場キャラが基本同じ髪型(フランス貴族カツラ)のおっさん ・ストーリーも(日本人だからか)全然はまれず、外野感が強い ・自キャラはオーバーヒートするのに、敵は全くしない ・もっとスチーム感、蒸気ブシュブシュ出して欲しかった

Took forever for me to find the 'assist' mode, which is like a customizable, easier mode, but now that I have I can actually enjoy the game. I totally understand, and even like, the concept of overheating. But it the normal mode it happens way too quickly, after a few moves, and unless you specifically have aiming locked on, those might even miss. So you kinda have to grind on the same few enemies in order to get enough experience to upgrade yourself. It was frustrating enough that I almost put it down, but then found the assist mode. The story is intriguing, though I'm only part way through. It is a little strange that everyone is british but just says a few words of french here and there, but you get used to it. Overall enjoying it now though.
Game ran fine, the story is fairly boring and contrived, gameplay loop was entertaining but the animations and level designs could have been better. One decent playthrough and never touch it again.
Tutto sommato lo consiglio, la storia è originale e molto accattivante, i personaggi sono ben scritti e contestualizzati, la mappa è molto bella da visitare e i combattimenti hanno delle meccaniche fantastiche; però il gioco è ottimizzato molto male per il PC, senza alcune accortezze o un computer abbastanza performante l'esperienza di gioco ne può decisamente risentire se non completamente invalidata.
bad level design, really boring to play
Pretty fun but ultimately forgetable game about the french revolution. You rescue a bunch of aristocrats who'll join together in a convent to overthrow the monarch, and they'll proceed to bicker and argue among themselves about the future of France whilst you're out in the various districts of Paris furthering the actual goal.
