Steel Division: Normandy is a tactical real-time strategy (RTS) game that pits players against AI enemies in a single-player campaign -- or against several opponents in massive 10-on-10 multiplayer battles.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 12 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Let me start off this review by pointing out the critical problems about it. For example when you win a match you just don't feel like you've done anything fun at all, like all that time you've spent was worth nothing and you just don't want to play anymore. idk how other to explain it but for example in Company of heroes 2 when you win a match you feel ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ecstatic that you beat the odds and won the day. i think why is you don't feel in control of your troops, like they just did it for you and you just watched unlike COH2. but other than that the game is like a more chill Wargames: red dragon.

I want to like the game. But I have seen a lot of things i don't like: - Infantry movement speed to running animation doesn't match. - Infantry running through fire which is burning and through objects. - Mortars shooting through trees, buildings and other objects. - Jeeps who are running over trees, which only tanks could do. However, also tanks can not run over trees in reality, if they are too big. - Infantry can shoot through walls when in buildings and don't shoot out of windows. - Jeeps and other vehicles have very unrealistic paths they choose. Sometimes they drive the whole path not on the street, but driving hundreds of metres through a fence beside the road. - In my short time playing Steel Division I have seen an incorrect animation of MG-squad running with MG not in their hands but floating slightly above their hands in the air. - And I don't like that infantry don't jump over fences and other obstacles and just run through them. - And I don't like that Anti-Air also shoot through trees without line of sight. - Unloading infantry from helicopters and vehicles is just teleporting them out and the vehicles or helicopters simply disappear instantly. - Infantry or vehicles can shoot through friendly units without any damage for them. But most important is: Friendly unit would never ever shoot in the direction of friendly units. I have seen this issue in mutiple forms. In my opinion Eugen System massively has to work on the - unit AI, - path finding, - respecting object borders, - the animation, - and the enemy AI. These are just some of the issues I don't like. All of these things are not realistic for me. And all of these things destroy the immersion for me. I would recommend this game for everyone who doesn't care about these things. Basically I would say, that if my described negative points weren't there, I could say that game is far ahead of games like company of hereos. However I hope Eugen System keep on working on their games, because I really want to play a game like this without those issues in the future. The idea of a more realistic game than Company of Hereos is still great for me.
Game is so good. But big minus is that company not that long as i expected
excellent ww2 rts unfortunately the single player campaigns have not aged well at all with generally obnoxious missions due to time constraints on objectives and poor ally AI with enemy AI that does not have fog of war. The mp is nonexistent in 2024 as well. I will still recommend this to anyone who is a fan of this style of game but I'd just play steel division 2 or call to arms instead
