About

The population of the harsh desert planet Kwalasha needs our help. Their peaceful lives, working in the mining industry, have been disturbed by a threat that they cannot face alone: the Arachnids. Under Colonel Hawthorne’s command, the Mobile Infantry will take back control of the planet and smash everything that has more than two legs. Enlist in this exciting military campaign, meet inspiring characters, visit amazing locations and do your part in the heroic war against the Bug!

The Arachnids may have virtually limitless numbers, but they lack the thorough tactical training that the Mobile Infantry enjoys. Position your units in advantageous choke points or on higher elevations. Be wary, however, that battle mechanics such as True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire may limit your field of fire and allow the treacherous Bugs to lay in ambush.

Optimize your army by choosing from a wide range of specialized unit types, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and set of unlockable elite abilities. Rifle Troopers can use their shotgun ability to hold back large numbers of Arachnids, M11 Marauders bipeds can unleash a withering mortar barrage and the Fleet Liaison can call down dropships with reinforcements or direct an airstrike to wipe out whole swaths of enemies.

The Bug infestation is rooted in elaborate underground hives. These present a unique challenge that demands a delicate balance between aggression and defense. Beware of the numerous tunnel openings, from which hordes of Arachnids can emerge.
To eradicate the Bug problem for good, their nests must be eradicated!

The propaganda clip in the beginning of a mission said everything was perfect and the bugs were on the verge getting defeated. Immediatly in the mission I see my guys get literally obliterated by a horde of bugs as they swarm over all of my defenses. 10/10 the atmosphere is unbeatable
I'm glad I'm doing my part! Totally worth enlisting!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game
Have you done your part? Great RTS with Starship Troopers taste on everything. Couple of time things got dicey but those were own fault, doing right this isn't too difficult, but just right. Liked it very much. 84 / 100
Fun of starcraft 2 campaign with starshiptroopers
I learned how to shoot bugs. Finally, something I can actually use in real life! Rating this game is tough; I’m only giving it a positive review because I paid just €1.79 for it. It’s not quite worth the full current price of €28.99. The DLCs aren't cheap, either, and don't really justify the cost. I found the campaign to be a real slog. The game introduces you to the mechanics very, very slowly during the missions. Regardless of the difficulty setting, the slow progression gets a bit annoying. A lot of this is down to the fact that the game doesn't offer much depth, especially when it comes to base building. You’ll quickly learn that mobile units are always better than defensive turrets. And that’s about it—you can't really build anything other than defensive turrets freely. I was really interested in the territorial mode, but some options simply aren't available. Seeing "coming soon" after four years is disheartening. The combat is well-executed. There aren't many different types of bugs, but it’s perfectly adequate. On the plus side, you have a nice selection of troops, and the rock-paper-scissors mechanic isn't overly rigid. If you make good use of the terrain and stay mobile, you can succeed even with weaker, smaller forces. I really liked that aspect. The bugs aren't smart; they’re controlled from afar by an ugly "Brain Bug." It’s their sheer numbers that make them dangerous. I’m suddenly seeing parallels to the MAGA movement. Crazy. Turns out this game has more depth than I thought. Unfortunately, the unique humor associated with *Starship Troopers* is missing here. The tone is much stiffer than what you’d expect. I really missed that element—it could have truly saved the campaign. Okay, so there’s about 30-60 hours of fun to be had here. You can adjust the difficulty level for every mission in both the campaign and the challenges. In Territorial Mode, the difficulty increases as you progress and cannot be manually adjusted. However, the increase is gradual, though it does become challenging toward the end. You can't go wrong if the game is on sale with a discount of 30% or more.
Unfinished game, you can only play the Tutorial Missions (3 of them) and the Tutorial for Territory Mode ( 1 mission ) all in 15 minutes or so. Campaign is locked with DLC's, the Tutorial for one of them you can play :) Everything else requires a DLC or it says Coming Soon/Development in progress. After 4 years, it's not coming, ever. This is not worth 30$, it's a Demo you got when you bought a Gaming Magazine back in the day. If the Custom Battle Mode was working, it would be worth 30$, maybe ( it's Coming Soon, NOT) I've never seen such a incomplete game since they release Fallout 76, but at least that one was fixed afterwards and it was a copy of fallout 4 so it had a good base, this one seems dead.
"Very easy" is not very easy. Other mode was fun then got to a mission where they literally do not stop coming and capturing the check points literally as soon as you leave. 1 out of 5 stars.
Игра отличная, как в лучших традициях старых стратегий. Юниты хорошо подобраны, как из фильма, поэтому чувствуешь себя героем ))
